Für die Bahnplanung uon Robotern ist die schnelle Erkennung von Kollisionen und die Bestimmung der Abstände der Robotersegmente der Umgebung wesentlich. Bei einer detailgetreuen Modellierung sind auch Abstände zwischen gekrümmten Flächen, die hier durch superquadratische Ellipsoide modelliert weden, und konvexen Polyedern zu bestimmen. Der vorgestellte Algorithmus stellt eine Kombination des Verfahrens von BOBROW für konvexe Polyeder und einem eigenen Verfahren für superquadratische Ellipsoide dar.
Folgendes Problem wird untersucht: Einer Masse kann eine veränderliche Beschleunigung erteilt werden; wie muß man diese steuern, damit die Masse bei gegebenen Anfangsbedingungen in kürzester Zeit eine gegebene Endlage mit der Endgeschwindigkeit Null erreicht? Dieses Problem wird unter verschiedenen Voraussetzungen über die Beschleunigung durch unstetige und stetige Steuerungen gelöst. Gleichungen f ür die Bestimmung der Steuerungsparameter werden angegeben. Die Gestalt der optimalen Bahnen wird bestimmt. Der Zusammenhang mit dem Landungsproblem der Astronautik wird erörtert.
