The article discusses the mechanism of action of the epilam film during the operation of epilated drills and the influence of cutting conditions, processing conditions on their condition. Tribological tests were carried out using a special installation, where the test conditions are close to the conditions characteristic of the drilling process. Based on the results of the experiment, it was found that the effectiveness of epilam film directly depends on the cutting speed, which determines the temperature in the contact zone. Research has shown that use of oil-based LCTF MR-7 (МР-7) has the best effect on the state of epilam coating.
The main working body of technological equipment of screw rotor technological systems are screw rotors which present spatial objects with an original geometrical shape of working body perimeter in which component parts and granules of the processing environment carry out simultaneously continuous rotation around the axis of working body and progressive motion, constantly moving along a horizontal axis of working body rotation. This article gives a classification of perimeter forms of working bodies, such as screw rotors, which let to expand technological possibilities of technological equipment and to provide the increase of effectiveness of the production process by means of increase of its amplitude-frequency characteristics. The peculiarity of working bodies in the form of screw rotors is the fact that internal cavity of a rotor has a wavy shape, formed by the sides of a semicircular form. The paper covers on a construction and the principle of operation of machine-tools on the basis of working bodies in the form of screw rotors with a shaped surface on perimeter. The suggested design solutions of processing equipment allow creating highly effective machine-tools for the finishing and strengthening processing.
The article discusses the effect of epilamated coatings during mandrelling. The picture of the change in contact stresses in the DEFORM-3D system is presented. It was established that a decrease in the coefficient of friction from 0.9 to 0.6 leads to a decrease in the number of foci and areas of contact stresses, as well as temperature analysis showed that a decrease in the friction forces reduces heat transfer in the cutting zone by about 40 ° C.
The article is devoted to one of the promising methods of increasing the penetrating ability of COTS into the zone of contact interaction between the tool and the workpiece and, accordingly, increasing the operational characteristics of the tool life by applying fluorine-containing surface-active substances (fluorine-surfactant) from epilam solutions to the working surface. Tribological tests were carried out using a special installation, where the test conditions are close to the conditions characteristic of the drilling process. Based on the results of the experiment, it was found that the effectiveness of epilating directly depends on the cutting speed, which determines the temperature in the contact zone.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
