The problem of personal identity in the modern world is becoming increasingly important due to the increasing number of statuses and roles of the individual, which in recent decades have completely changed and are no longer fixed. One of the potential risks of personal identity disorders is drug addiction, which is one of the most acute problems of our time, the problem of which has reached catastrophic proportions. The peculiarities of the personal identity of persons addicted to psychoactive substances are now increasingly in the focus of researchers. The use of psychoactive substances forms an addictive identity, because of which a person relates himself only to his own role-playing, often illusory characteristics, losing a deep understanding of his own “Self”. Violation of the formation of identity, in turn, acts as a factor in the development of addictive behaviour. The article presents the results of a study of personal identity in people with drug addiction (opium addiction). The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was the concept of ego-identity E. Erickson and J. Marcia's concept of the statuses of his identity. We used techniques to diagnose personal identity "Who am I?" M. Kuna, T. McPartland in the modification of T.V. Rumyantseva and the method "Diagnosis of interpersonal relationships" (T. Leary). The study sample consisted of 102 male patients with drug addiction (opium addiction) aged 18-26 years, and 54 healthy males aged 18-27 years without signs of somatic, mental pathology and drug addiction. Research and analysis of personal identification characteristics of drug addicts shows that personal identity is characterized by internal consistency, blurring and inconsistency of the image of "Self", formed due to superficial and weak differentiation awareness of one's own "Self"; personal identity is characterized by blurring and unformed boundaries of one's own "Self", namely the adhesion of aspects of "Self" - Real and "Self" - ideal, which determines the deformation of personal identity and value-motivational sphere of the drug addict; characterized by polymorphic structure of "Self", the difficulty of self-identification and the inability to distinguish "ideal" aspects of personality from the real, which contributes to the formation of diffuse status of personal identity, supporting the process of negative transformation into addictive identity and characterized by awareness of drug addiction.
The article presents the results of a study of the characteristics of narcissistic regulation of drug addicts. The aim of the study is to investigate the features of narcissistic regulation of drug addicts as forms of borderline personality organization and personality types of drug addicts. According to the set goal and objectives of the study, a research sample was formed. Based on informed consent in compliance with the principles of bioethics and deontology during 2019-2020. a psychodiagnostic study of 102 male patients with drug addiction of the opioid group was carried out on the basis of the "Vertical" rehabilitation center at the age of 18-26 years, and 54 healthy males at the age of 18-27 years without signs of somatic, mental pathology and drug addiction. To achieve this goal, we used the following methods: for the study of narcissistic regulation - "Index of the functioning of the Self-system" (Zalutskaya N.M. and oth., 2003); for the study of personality characterological radicals were used test "Self-portrait of personality" Jen M. Oldham and Louis B. Morris. Mathematical processing was carried out using the methods of mathematical statistics (SPSS Statistics 21): methods for checking the reliability of differences in unrelated samples (Mann-Whitney U-test). Conclusions: Narcissistic regulation of drug addicts is based on the formation of an ideal image for others, acting as a social “mask” caused to hide the terrible inner emptiness, baseness and depravity of their own “Self”. A rigid internal imperative is based on the background of parent-child relationships and levels the internal infantile dependence on the inflated expectations of parents. The personality profile of drug addicts is based on the multidimensional development of personality types, which introduce individual characteristics into the personality of drug addicts and manifest themselves under certain circumstances, indicating a conditional heterogeneity in these characteristics. The study of the interdependence of personality types with the characterological radicals of narcissistic regulation and drug addicts complements the awareness of the holistic picture of the functioning of an addictive personality. The existing correlations allow drug addicts to form compensatory mechanisms to mask their own narcissistic deficit.
Introduction:The issue under consideration is the study of gender role traits and protective mechanisms of an addictive personality. These are the characteristics that determine the processes of adaptation, form the adaptive system, and contribute to its subjective comfort. The aim of this research is to analyze the features of psychological protection and personal maturity mechanisms depending on gender types of women with signs of exercise addiction. Material and methods:To consider the manifestation of this phenomenon, the following psychodiagnostic methods were used: the Life Style Index (LSI), the structural gender-role scale of O.S. Kocharyan, E.V. Frolova, and the "Auto analytical questionnaire of a healthy personality" of V.O. Ananiev. Apart from that, the method of verifying the differences of unrelated samples (Student's t-test), correlation analysis (Kendall's τ coefficient), and factor analysis were applied in order to factorize the main data components (Varimax rotation). Results:The study of the correlations between maturity and the psychological protection mechanisms suggested that personal maturity is mostly associated with the mechanism of denial. Finally, the practical significance of the research lies in forming the empirical basis for further development of the system of psychological support and correction of women with signs of exercise addiction who are identified as psychological targets of influence. Conclusions: Finally, the practical significance of the research lies in forming the empirical basis for further development of the system of psychological support and correction of women with signs of exercise addiction who are identified as psychological targets of influence.
phenomenon is based on the background of authoritarianism, aggressiveness and, at the same time, the pursuit of social acceptance and acceptance, sacrifice of their own interests, an attempt to help others at their own expense, to be positive for the society. The positive qualities of the "Self" -concept of chemical addicts are of an imaginary nature and are an "external mask" of crowding out the fact of the marginality of addiction. The leading pattern of the "Self" -concept is the emotional-polar type of personality, resulting in a distorted motivational sphere, semantic accents are shifted, and they are largely determined by the relationship with the surrounding world. For the system of attitudes of chemical addicts characterized the atypical formation of subject-subjective emotional stereotypes to close women: the mother, the wife / girlfriend, based on the devaluation of the social status of the mother, having an extension in magnifying negative qualities of the partner in relation to positive qualities, which allows to make an assumption of a devaluation of socially acceptable grounds through the unconscious awareness of the stigmatized attitude of society towards the marginality of their behavior. The study of the relationship between the features of the "Self" -concept and the system of attitudes between addicts made it possible to identify reliable correlations. The relationship between the individual attitudes towards the wife / girlfriend and the content characteristics of the "Self"-concept ("Who am I?") can be interpreted as traction from addicts before the transfer of guilt to a partner. The interrelation of subjective attitudes correlates with the self-esteem of the subjects and is expressed in reliable connections of average strength with the results of "Who am I?" And "Self"real. Established strong connection of the meaningful characteristic of the "Self"concept -"Self"-real with the system of individual attitudes towards the mother and "Perfect" woman can be interpreted as the failure of the model "Perfect" women of addicts, given the weak links between different assessment scales, indicating the desire to find a partner, not similar to either the mother or the "perfect" way that can be interpreted as the deliberate search for a disadvantageous party to justify its addictive behavior.
