This paper investigates how fundamental labour rights specified in International Framework Agreements are implemented and monitored in subcontracting chains. It shows how labour's capacity for workplace-based monitoring is influenced by factors such as ownership structures, the societal context, and, most importantly, the institutions and dynamics of local labour control.
This is the first study of successful adoptive families in Ukraine; 365 adoptive families were surveyed about their experiences. This article describes child and family demographics as well as provides a discussion of the various issues encountered during the adoption process. Implications for policy, practice and future research are outlined.
The relevance of the research topic lies in the significant impact of transportation costs and price formation for all goods, services and the need to reduce the transport component in the costs of other sectors of the economy. The main purpose of the study is to substantiate the means of implementing the economic mechanism of regulating the activities of transport enterprises in the areas of tariff formation, taxation and investment. The research methods were the method of system analysis, the method of analysis and synthesis, the method of comparison, the balance method, the intersectoral analysis. In the course of the research, it was established that ensuring the development of the national economy is possible only if the transport component in the costs of related industries is reduced, taking into account the multiplier effect of the growth of the transport industry. The results are presented based on the establishment of intersectoral effects, calculated based on the use of the table "cost-output". This model reflects both the direct -directly through transport activities -impact on various sectors of the economy, and the indirect economic effect due to the results of activities in the field of transport. The impact of lower individual taxes on the performance of transport enterprises (profitability) is also analyzed, the results indicate a positive effect. The implementation of the proposed means of implementing the economic mechanism of regulation of transport enterprises will increase the efficiency of management, which, in turn, will meet the necessary needs for the development of transport enterprises by the conditions of expanded reproduction and increase efficiency, quality and volume of transport services. , to direct the released and additionally attracted means for the decision of the most actual problems of the transport enterprises and their
The need for improvement and development of logistics activities at transport enterprises is determined. The content of the concept of “logistics activity” and theoretical aspects of its development at transport enterprises are revealed. Complex logistics functions and elementary logistics operations are analyzed. The role and place of logistics activity and its influence on the functioning of transport enterprises are substantiated. The efficiency of logistics activity at transport enterprises and directions of its improvement are analyzed. Among the areas identified there are three main: the use of big data (Big Data), cloud logistics and logistics platforms of supply chains, the Internet of Things. Therefore, the availability and use of information platforms and technologies are extremely important in improving the logistics activities of transport companies. With their appearance, it becomes possible to develop various mathematical methods for simplifying logistics tasks and their practical implementation. It is proved that the use of logistics contributes to the achievement of certain competitive advantages by transport enterprises. The opinions of various authors on the definition of the concept of “logistics activities” are considered and a comprehensive definition of the concept is proposed. The system of management of logistic activity of the enterprise, the place and role of the elements of logistic activity is given and it is proved that performance of tasks of logistic activity at each stage of a material flow management raises the competitiveness of the enterprise in the market of transport services.
The article identifies the essence of human capital, which is characterized by the UNDP Human Development Index (HDI) and reflects the development of mankind, combining in one indicator information about health, education and income. This indicator has long been an impeccable tool for comparison and a basis for national priorities. Outlines the importance of investing in human capital at all levels in modern conditions. The importance of human capital revealed, the importance of human development assessment for the national economy outlined. The index of human development and Ukraine's position in the world ranking analyzed.
