The period of restrictions on social contacts introduced by the governments of different countries increased the time spent by users in social networks. The paper aims to analyze the Internet activity of students in social networks as a way of overcoming interaction difficulties in the context of an epidemiological threat. The research used the observation method and questionnaires to collect data for this research. The sample for the research consisted of 300 students between ages of 18 and 22, who were purposively sampled. Using content analysis and the statistical program for social sciences, the collected data were analyzed. As a result of the study, it was established that the Internet activity of students in social networks in the context of an epidemiological threat and globalization in general, determines the level of development and the content framework of a person's self-attitude. The COVID-19 pandemic has grown a worldwide health concern and has imposed a significant impact on education. As a result, halfway through the second semester of 2019/2020, learning methods were delivered through distance learning (DL). The purpose of the paper is to study the specifics of online education during the Covid-19 pandemic. A comprehensive diagnostic study of the psychological characteristics of students included the following methods: the test of life-meaning orientations (LMO), adapted by D.A. Leontiev (2006), diagnostics of the motivational structure of personality. Based on the results of the conducted empirical research, duration of study influenced student preference. Plus, Higher number of first-year students preferred DL compared to their seniors. Notwithstanding some challenges, students could adjust to the new education methods of full DL, and the majority recognized combined learning that combined classroom and distance learning can be performed subsequently. The COVID-19 pandemic transforms the application of technology in education and teaching approaches in the near future.
Today, the risk of emotional exhaustion is increasing and a decrease in the professional activity of healthcare workers is observed due to an epidemiologically unstable situation in the world. The importance and social significance of solving this problem is connected with the fact that the burnout syndrome has a complex form and can be interpreted differently from the point of view of root causes and final outcome. This, in its turn, guides to the exploratory search for directions of psychological means and methods of influence. The purpose of the paper is to study hardiness in the structure of personal resources of overcoming professional burnout among healthcare workers during a pandemic. The leading techniques for the study of this problem were the following: psychodiagnostic technique “Diagnosis of emotional burnout”, personality questionnaire, hardiness test. Hardiness has been studied in the structure of personal resources of overcoming professional burnout. The authors have proven that doctors possessing hardiness are distinguished by personal qualities that help them adapt and withstand difficult social situations. The features of professional burnout have been identified among healthcare workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. It has been found that a high level of hardiness in the structure of personal resources is a factor in overcoming professional burnout among doctors. The results obtained made it possible to develop practical recommendations to prevent professional burnout and boost hardiness among healthcare workers during the pandemic. The paper is intended for specialist psychologists, clinical psychologists, and healthcare managers.
