Indonesia is a country traversed by volcanic active zone (ring of fire), possessing more than 400 volcanoes where 130 are categorized as actives. Volcanic eruptions are very harmful to living things, but providing many benefits to humans, such as producing fertile soil from volcanic ash advantaging in agriculture. Identification and mapping of volcanic landforms are very important for disaster mitigation purposes and it can be implemented by geomorphological analysis using remote sensing data. This study is aimed to examine the use of IKONOS imagery to identify and analysis volcanic landforms of Guntur Volcano. The results showed that Guntur Volcano could be distinguished in 16 landforms using IKONOS imagery, i.e. 3 craters in different chronology, 1 lava domes, 7 lava flows in different chronology, 4 landforms of volcanic cone, and 1 degraded landform caused by anthropogenic processes. The details features of Guntur's morphology recorded and displayed by the IKONOS imagery is very helpful and better for identifying volcanic landform in detail.
