Objective: To evaluate the satisfaction of octogenarians with Primary Health Care services. Method: a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, was carried out with 30 older users of the Family Health Strategy, selected by a non-probabilistic sample. Data were collected at home, using the following questionnaires: the mini-mental state exam, a questionnaire on sociodemographic factors, health conditions and access to services, and a questionnaire on satisfaction with Primary Health Care. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The satisfaction analysis showed that the elderly octogenarians are satisfied in terms of care ( X ´ = 6,0 ; ± 1,5) and the interest that community agents demonstrate in them ( X ´ = 5,9 ; ± 1,6) and the availability of nurses for their treatment ( X ´ = 5,9 ; ± 1,1). Aspects related to the waiting time for nurses ( X ´ = 4,6 ; ± 1,6) and doctors ( X ´ = 4,9 ; ± 1,6), facilities for the disabled ( X ´ = 4,6 ; ± 1,4) and the perception that the unit is close to a perfect health unit ( X ´ = 4,6 ; ± 1,8). Conclusion: The services were positively evaluated, reflecting the importance of considering the perspective of octogenarian users in the planning of healthcare actions, since the evaluation of the quality of these services can lead to changes and guide actions in a way that is coherent with the lives of users, increasing their effectiveness, especially regarding actions aimed at the octogenarian population.
Conclusão: O estudo reforçou a importância da inclusão da família no tratamento desses indivíduos, e contribui apontando os facilitadores e barreiras para efetivar esta proposta.ABSTRACT Aim: Identify and analyze the possibilities and barriers perceived by health professionals to deploy and maintain, in a routine of an outpatient first episode psychosis service, care for the families of patients with mental disorders. Cancer is not limited to the physical dimension, but it also affects the entire biopsychosocial context in which the patient is inserted, making him more susceptible to psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety. These often require pharmacological intervention, and the use of psilocybin, a substance found in mushroom species, is one of the alternatives considered today. The present study aims to carry out an integrative review regarding the use of alternative therapies, in this case Psilocybin, in cancer patients suffering from anxiety and / or depression disorders. The type of study carried out was an integrative literature review, which was based on a bibliographic survey of texts published between 2010 and 2021 on the PubMed platform. This survey took place between December 2020 and February 2021, with a review of three articles in total. Studies show a potential new line of alternative treatment for anxiety and depression in cancer patients, the use of psilocybin. The treatment is done quickly, sustained and lasting, in conjunction with psychotherapy there is improvement in a single dose. All the studies analyzed so far have been shown to be effective for the treatment of anxiety and depression in cancer patients. With this, psilocybin can be an alternative therapy for those patients in psychological distress due to cancer, especially for those who did not obtain a satisfactory response with the use of conventional treatment, allowing that in the future the substance may become a definitive therapeutic modality for patients in psychological distress due to cancer.
Most studies of the family's role in the continuity of treatment after the first epidode psychosis investigate cases of abandonment treatment and point to "negative aspects of family". Few studies have investigated the role of the family in cases of patients who remain in treatment. Objective: Understand the experience of caring of a familiar in PEP and highlight the motivations to remain in care. Method: This is a qualitative research that used the systemic family theory as the theoretical framework and the narrative as a methodological framework. 13 family caregivers of 12 patients were interviewed. To carry out the interviews with narrative approach was used the following question: We know that few families remain in mental health treatment of their sick young familiar after the first episode psychosis. Maintain the treating and taking care of the patient is called engagement. These are actions like take into consultations, administer medications, so as to relate, take care of hygiene and so on. Therefore, we would like you to tell us what motivates you to stay caring after everything you and your family are sickened by his family. For the exploration of the narratives was used the inductive content analysis technique. Results: The analysis of the narrative set the familiar engagement in three major interdependent categories. One is related to the context of feelings involved in the care called "Motivations for engagement," the other two refer to actions related to care called "The engagement actions" and "The assessment of care." Conclusion: The study contributes to the knowledge to present actively involved families in caring of the young in treatment of first episode psychosis. The theoretical-methodological possible highlight and enhance the stories, experiences and family relations involved in the care of a loved one. Care were described and contextualized in the cultural values of families. We found that family members perceive care as a responsibility of their role in the family.
