Os compostos presentes na composição dos óleos lubrificantes para motores, como químicos e metais pesados, são prejudiciais ao meio ambiente. O efluente contaminado com óleo para motor é decorrente de locais como postos de combustível, oficinas mecânicas e estacionamento, que acabam por eliminar esses resíduos em corpos d'agua sem nenhum tipo de tratamento. Assim se faz necessário o desenvolvimento de tecnologias e técnicas capazes de tratar esses efluentes antes que sejam descartados ao ambiente aquático. A partir disso, o objetivo do presente trabalho foi estudar a aplicação do bagaço de malte na adsorção de óleo lubrificante em meio aquoso. As amostras foram previamente preparadas e secas em estufa. Na sequência, dois ensaios foram realizados, onde variou-se a granulometria do bagaço de malte seco, e foi determinado as melhores condições para o processo de adsorção. Após a adsorção, o adsorvente foi filtrado e seco em estufa e o teor de lipídeos para os ensaios foi determinado pelo método de Goldfish e a capacidade de adsorção foi obtida. Os ensaios apresentaram capacidade de adsorção variando entre 0,64 e 0,79 g óleo.g adsorvente -1 . Esses resultados mostram que o bagaço de malte pode ser utilizado como material adsorvente para a retirada desses resíduos de corpo d'agua contaminados.Palavras-chave: Hordeum vulgare L.,adsorção, óleo mineral, tratamento de resíduos.

This work reports the study of the potential application of Zn/TiO2 catalysts, obtained by the solgel method, in processes of environmental decontamination through the reactions of photodegradation of textile dye, followed by electrospray mass spectrometry. The catalysts synthesis was performed according to a 2² factorial design with repetition at the central point. The characterization techniques used were: N2 adsorption measurements (BET method), scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray (MEV/EDS), X-ray diffraction and point of zero charge (PZC). The photocatalytic tests were performed in batch in the presence of sunlight, and to evaluate the degradation kinetics study, a rapid direct injection electrospray mass spectrometry (DI-ESI-MS) method has been developed. By the photocatalytic tests, the calcination temperature of 400 °C has shown the best results of discoloration for the reactive Orange-122 dye (99.76%) in a reaction time of 2h. The discoloration kinetics were a pseudo-first order, and a statistical analysis was performed to investigate the effects of the variables and to optimize the conditions of discoloration to the dye. After the reactional time of 2 h, an ion of m/z 441.5 was detected by ESI-MS, indicating that the photocatalytic process was effective for the degradation of the dye to secondary compounds.

The aim of this study was to develop an adsorbent from coffee husk, residue from the coffee industry by different activation methods and to evaluate its application in the treatment of effluent containing synthetic Ponceau 4R dye. The activations were with phosphoric acid and zinc chloride, then the samples were characterized in terms of physical and chemical composition, structure and morphology, thermal behavior and kinetic and thermodynamic study. Regarding the characterization of the material, the activation with phosphoric acid showed porous morphology and a high surface area (429.7 m² g -1 ) and with the kinetic study it was possible to obtain an equilibrium time of 60 min and dispersion according to Elovich kinetics (R 2 = 0.96 and RMSE < 0.24). According to the experimental design, the adsorptive capacity can be evaluated with the significant result (qe = 19.87 mg g -1 ) under the conditions of 90 min of the adsorption process and at the concentration of 2 g L -1 of adsorbent. In relation to the equilibrium study the Langmuir model fit the data with coefficient of determination of R 2 = 0.84. Finally, the Ponceau 4R dye adsorption process using coffee husks as an activated carbon was thermodynamically favorable through the negative Gibbs free energy and positive entropy (+0.022 kJ mol -1 K -1 ). Therefore, the use of coffee husk as activated carbon proved to be a favorable material for Ponceau 4R dye adsorption. HIGHLIGHTS• The adsorbent activated with H2PO4 removed around 100% of Ponceau 4R dye.• The increase in temperature influenced the increase in maximum adsorptive capacity.• Langmuir's isotherm was better suited to the experimental data of the Ponceau 4R dye.

Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a composi��o qu�mica corporal e do fil� da til�pia do Nilo adulta, alimentadas com ra��es com cinco n�veis de prote�na digest�vel (PD): 14, 19, 24, 29 e 34% e quatro de energia digest�vel (ED): 2.600, 2.800, 3.000 e 3.200 Kcal/ kg-1. Foram distribu�das 60 til�pias do Nilo, revertidas sexualmente, em 20 unidades experimentais de polietileno com 1.000 L de volume �til cada. Os animais foram alimentados �s 8h, 13h e 18h de cada dia, a temperatura e o oxig�nio avaliados diariamente e as demais vari�veis semanalmente. Ao final de 60 dias de experimento os peixes foram abatidos e avaliados a composi��o qu�mica (umidade, cinzas, prote�na e gordura bruta) corporal e do fil� dos peixes. Os resultados m�dios das an�lises bromatol�gicas do fil� de til�pia do Nilo foram: umidade 75,14%, cinzas 1,19%, prote�na bruta 24,80% e gordura bruta 0,78%. Quanto aos resultados m�dios obtidos da an�lise corporal da til�pia do Nilo, umidade 68,74 %, cinzas 3,96%, prote�na bruta 17,71% e gordura bruta 5,54%. Os dados foram analisados estatisticamente por two way ANOVA (p<0,05) e foi verificado um efeito significativo do n�vel de energia digest�vel sobre a prote�na do fil�, onde o menor n�vel energ�tico promoveu fil�s com menor prote�na que os demais n�veis, os quais foram significativamente semelhantes entre si. Ra��es com baixo n�vel de energia digest�vel independentemente do n�vel de prote�na digest�vel proporcionam fil�s com menor concentra��o de prote�na em til�pias do Nilo adultas.
