O presente estudo trata-se de uma análise comparativa do uso de concretos betuminosos: usinado a quente com aditivos surfactantes e pré-misturados a frio em operações de reparo localizado em pavimentos flexíveis, como tapa buraco e remendo. Para poder entender o processo é necessário começarmos pela compressão ao tema de pavimentos especialmente ao flexível. Visto que, por ser um dos mais frágeis, tende com maior facilidade ser exposto às deformações precisando de reparações e ações preventivas com mais frequência. O revestimento asfáltico mais comum na pavimentação flexível é o concreto betuminoso usinado a quente (CBUQ) que na execução de tapa-buracos é comumente utilizado com aditivo surfactante mudando sua trabalhabilidade permitindo aplicá-lo a freio. Esse produto tem grande durabilidade e resistência, podendo ser usado na reparação asfáltica em períodos de chuvas e o próprio tráfego contribui na compactação do produto. Outro concreto bastante utilizado nessa pavimentação é o pré-misturado a frio de baixo custo e sua produção tem um modo mais simples quando comparado ao CBUQ. A pesquisa será feita através de estudos de referências bibliográficas de autores e órgãos que abordam sobre o tema como José Tadeu Balbo, Cinthya Batista de Salles, DNIT e Liedi Légi Bariani Bernucci. O objetivo do estudo é analisar ambos os concretos betuminosos em suas características como fabricação, composição, aplicação, durabilidade e custo a fim de compreender qual garante melhor resultado em função da finalidade de aplicação.
O presente artigo tem como objetivo evidenciar as patologias existentes nos pavimentos das ruas da cidade de Gurupi – TO, bem como a sugestão de soluções para estes problemas. Dentre os pavimentos a serem analisados, destacou-se a Avenida Goiás, que é o trecho urbano da BR-242 que atravessa o município, que apresenta várias patologias pelo grande movimento do centro comercial e pelo tráfego de veículos pesados.
A malha rodoviária sob administração federal perfaz extensão superior a sessenta mil quilômetros, cuja restauração tem como principal parâmetro de projeto a medida de deflexão recuperável na superfície do pavimento existente, para a qual existem diversos equipamentos disponíveis para a execução dos levantamentos de campo, em especial o FWD e a Viga benkelman. Todavia os métodos de dimensionamento do reforço do pavimento normatizados pelo Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT) preconizam a utilização das medidas de deflexão obtidas utilizando Viga benkelman, necessitando, portanto, de correlação da medida de deflexão obtida por outros equipamentos. Para esta correlação, existem diversas equações propostas, entretanto se trata de equações genéricas que não consideram características específicas e condições ambientais que estão sujeitos o pavimento. Neste sentido este estudo busca apresentar a influência da utilização de equações genéricas para correlação destas medidas, demonstrando por meio de uma análise comparativa técnica a divergência entre soluções de restauração do pavimento dimensionadas através de medidas de deflexões genuínas e medidas correlacionadas, analisando inclusive a influência da correlação na aplicação de recursos públicos em manutenção rodoviária, demonstrando o prejuízo ao erário causado pelo emprego de premissas genéricas.
Neste artigo são abordados os impactos gerados pela fiscalização do excesso de peso em veículos comerciais na rodovia BR153 no município de Gurupi/TO. Apresenta-se a grande dependência da indústria com o transporte rodoviário, as inconsis-tências do sistema de fiscalização nacional, a necessidade de coleta de dados de tráfego para a tomada de decisões, o dimen-sionamento de um pavimento novo ou reforço levando em consideração o número “N” que representa o parâmetro da solici-tação do tráfego ao pavimento. No estudo, conclui-se que o excesso de peso em veículos comerciais é um dos principais fato-res da destruição das rodovias brasileiras e da diminuição considerável da vida útil. E, por fim, evidenciou-se os impactos da fiscalização do excesso de peso, como a redução da degradação do pavimento e a prevenção de acidentes causados pelo tráfego de caminhões com excesso de peso.
