Esta pesquisa foi realizada com o objetivo de determinar o efeito do adjuvante baseado no polímero E3 como uma alternativa para a redução do óleo agrícola no controle do Sigatoka preto. O trabalho foi realizado em uma planta de 3 a 4 meses de idade plantada com material genético da cultivar "Williams". Doses de fungicidas à base de Difenoconazol + Espiroxamina; Pyrimentanil + Mancozebe; Isopyrazam + extrato de Melaleuca alternifolia; Fenpropimorph + Bacillus subtilis e Tebuconazole, Triadimenol + Fenpropidina, aos quais foram adicionados adjuvantes de Água + E3; água; óleo + água e um tratamento de controle sem aplicação de adjuvantes. Foi usado um desenho de bloco completamente aleatório com quatro tratamentos e três réplicas e a média dos tratamentos foi comparada usando o teste de Duncan com 5% de significância. O ensaio tinha uma área de 245,76 m2 semeada em um triângulo de 3,2 m entre plantas e 2,5 m entre fileiras, consistindo de 36 plantas. As avaliações foram realizadas semanalmente após as aplicações; o número de lesões e os estágios da doença por folha foram avaliados de acordo com a escala de estover e emissão foliar. Para o manejo de culturas, foram realizados o controle de ervas daninhas, fertilização, irrigação e aplicação de fungicidas. A partir dos resultados foi determinado que o maior número de lesões nos estágios II, IV e V, foi apresentado com a aplicação de fungicidas adicionando óleo + água na primeira e segunda semana de avaliação, desaparecendo nestes tratamentos e aumentando no tratamento de controle, sem o uso de adjuvantes a partir da terceira semana; no estágio III, foi observado que os tratamentos que utilizavam água + E3 e óleo + água obtiveram mais lesões na primeira e segunda semana, enquanto na terceira, quarta e quinta semana o tratamento de controle relatou isso; na fase VI, foram relatadas lesões com o uso de óleo + água na primeira semana, na segunda e terceira semanas não foram observadas lesões e aumentaram na quarta e quinta semana no tratamento de controle; na folha 1, a maior taxa de infecção foi observada com a aplicação de fungicidas e coadjuvantes baseados em água + E3 e na folha 2, todos os tratamentos estudados obtiveram uma taxa de infecção, enquanto que na folha 3, verificou-se que o tratamento de controle atingiu uma taxa de infecção maior.
O objetivo deste trabalho foi estabelecer o processo para a elaboração de uma infusão de camomila com Stevia com benefícios para a saúde como alternativa econômica para pequenos empresários na cidade de Babahoyo, a fim de identificar a melhor dosagem. Três tratamentos foram estabelecidos entre a camomila e a estevia; em seguida, o produto foi testado quanto à aceitabilidade através de análise organoléptica. Posteriormente, o tratamento mais aceitável foi avaliado quanto às características de qualidade por meio de análises físico-químicas, microbiológicas e de metais pesados estabelecidas no NTE INEN 2392. As análises em geral mostraram que o produto aqui produzido obedece a todos os limites permitidos determinados na norma descrita anteriormente. Em conclusão, pode-se estabelecer que este produto tem um bom critério de aceitação na proporção de camomila 70% e stevia 30%; portanto, seu consumo é recomendado quando se bebe uma infusão com propriedades antioxidantes.
O gorgulho da bananeira Cosmopolites sordidus (Germar, 1824) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) é uma praga de importância econômica no cultivo da bananeira, portanto, novas alternativas são necessárias para reduzir sua incidência. O estudo foi realizado no ambiente do Laboratório de Entomologia da Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias da Universidade Técnica de Babahoyo, onde foi avaliada a eficácia de diversas cepas de B. bassiana no controle de C. sordidus em condições de laboratório. Foram utilizados 12 tratamentos, que se baseiam na aplicação de diversas cepas de B. bassiana e um controle químico com diferentes doses, com três repetições por tratamento, distribuídos em um ensaio de blocos completos casualizados, onde foram feitas as comparações das médias com os Teste de intervalo múltiplo de Tukey a 95% de probabilidade. Os insetos C. sordidus foram coletados nas fases larva, pupal e adulta dos rebentos de bananeiras afetadas no campo, as quais foram desinfetadas com hipoclorito de sódio a 0,5%, para evitar qualquer tipo de contaminação. As larvas e pupas foram submetidas a completar seu ciclo biológico até a obtenção do adulto. A inoculação do fungo nos insetos adultos de C. sordidus foi realizada por micropulverização com micropipetas, na parte dorsal do inseto adulto com 5 dias de emergência. Os insetos adultos inoculados foram colocados em placas de Petri com 30 gramas de pseudocaule e 30 gramas de rizoma fresca, previamente desinfetados. Para cada tratamento, 5 insetos adultos foram colocados com três repetições, avaliando-se a cada 5, 8, 10 dias após a inoculação. Para estimar corretamente os efeitos dos tratamentos, foram coletados dados sobre o número de insetos mortos, a porcentagem de insetos adultos com crescimento de micélio de B. bassiana e a porcentagem de mortalidade. Pelos resultados obtidos, determinou-se que o tratamento 8 (BbPLUS (B. bassiana) 11,5 ml / L) e o tratamento 9 (BbPLUS (B. bassiana) 12,5 ml / L) apresentaram mortalidade de 80% em adultos de gorgulho preto após 8 e 10 dias após a inoculação.
