The main objective of this study is the development of a model of conversational competences for Business and IT managers aiming at the strategic alignment between their areas. The theory of this alignment highlights the importance of communication between Business and IT areas, which is explored in the social dimension of their managers' relationship through conversational competences. A survey research was performed with Business and IT managers from public and private organizations in Brazil, whose data were analyzed through multivariate statistical techniquesexploratory and confirmatory factor analysisand thematic content analysis. The results confirmed the constructs and most of the hypotheses of the proposed research model, which was expanded with new constructs and hypotheses.
The purpose of this paper is to design a conceptual model of institutional elements for the building of a client-supplier strategic partnership in IT outsourcing, involving an ERP system licensing. This model resulted from a case study in a Brazilian transnational bank, which is one of the 10 largest American banks in terms of assets volume. Qualitative content analysis technique evaluated the data collected from interviews, documents, and observations. The results show the importance of a multidimensional institutional perspective with a set of regulative, normative, and cognitive elements to structure a client-supplier partnership. The data analysis confirmed elements predefined in the theory developed, as well as identified new ones.
O objetivo principal deste estudo é a realização de bibliometria da produção científica dos últimos cinco anos sobre processos de monitoramento e controle de projetos de desenvolvimento de software gerenciados com o método Scrum, envolvendo as principais bases de publicações de periódicos, teses e dissertações. Para isso, foram definidos como eixos temáticos os métodos ágeis, o método Scrum, software e monitoramento e controle de projetos. Foram pesquisadas bases de publicações nos portais Capes e Web of Knowledge, sendo a relevância dos artigos encontrados determinada pelo h-index. Com base no conjunto de publicações localizadas, foram determinadas suas principais abordagens sobre aqueles processos de monitoramento e controle. Os resultados da pesquisa indicam uma pequena produção científica destinada ao monitoramento e controle de projetos de desenvolvimento de software com uso de métodos ágeis, revelando em número ainda menor aqueles com o uso do método Scrum, o que sugere oportunidades de pesquisa e consequente incremento da produção científica relacionada a esse tema contemporâneo às organizações.DOI:10.5585/gep.v4i2.154
The chapter explains the importance of taking the expectations of customers and service providers into account with regard to IT service quality management. To do this, the author uses the SERVPERF method, which identifies expectations regarding service performance from the point of view of both the customer and the provider. Based on an empirical study, the author demonstrates the importance of aligning IT staff with staff from the customer company as far as quality management is concerned.

Para isso, foi realizada modelagem qualitativa e quantitativa para a construçãoAbstract: This study aimed the development of an IT Balanced Scorecard based on dynamic systems approach -IT DBSC. The research strategy was a single case study about the process of IT strategic management with the use of the BSC in the Brazilian Army's Telematics System (SisTEx), through qualitative and a quantitative modeling. We performed a BSC document analysis and strategic maps of SisTEx's military units, as the researcher participative observer and confirmatory simulation on proof context. The results sustained the established study propositions, according to causal and effect relationships and delay times considered between strategic objectives, which allowed the simulation of the proposed model.
