The schools visited eleven of these places, one a day (morning and afternoon), always in groups of twenty students accompanied by a teacher of their own school and a escort (that was a student of the University). FICHA CATALOGRÁFICA Preparada pelo Serviço de Biblioteca e Informação do Instituto de Física da Universidade de São PauloOur proposal of research inserted in this context with the preoccupation in knowing how much this project could be collaborate to the life of these partnership schools, and in this sense we chose to look at relationship between the students and the formal scholar knowledge to verify if the immersion promoted by the project would modify in some way this relationship. To access the thoughts that direct the students in relation with the scholar knowledge, we work with the concept of social representation, because they orient the social group in their choices and define the attitudes and behaviors of the group members. The method that we chose to know the social representations was the discourse of Collective subjects (DCS), that consists in building a collective speaking, starting with individuals statements. In this technique we compare several individuals statement to discover what there is in common, and this common speech material is the raw material for the Discourse of Collective Subjects. The DCSs allowed us to know the students' social representations about the scholar knowledge, and how we will accompany them during the year that the partnership between University and Public School happens, we can know if and how this relationship with the formal scholar knowledge changes itself.
