<p dir="ltr"><span>En este artículo se muestran los resultados de un trabajo de investigación sobre los hogares monoparentales con jefatura femenina en el estado de Nuevo León. Con base en los datos estadísticos proporcionados por la Encuesta Nacional de Ingresos y Gastos en los Hogares (ENIGH) 2004, se presenta el análisis de los resultados obtenidos, donde se examinan las características generales de la población así como las características del ingreso y el gasto monetario que se realiza en este tipo de hogares. Entre las conclusiones se señala que, en comparación con el resto de los hogares en el estado, no es posible vincular de forma directa la pobreza y la vulnerabilidad con las condiciones de vida material de los hogares en estudio.</span></p>
Objetivo. Se analiza la composición de los hogares, las jefaturas y los arreglos familiares de estudiantes en Tamaulipas. Metodología. Se utilizan, para tal fin, parte de los resultados de un proyecto de carácter explicativo donde se encuestaron a 1135 jóvenes de ambos sexos a través de un muestreo probabilístico, estratificado y proporcional en cuatro facultades de la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas situadas en el centro, sur y norte del Estado fronterizo de Tamaulipas, México. Resultados y conclusión. Entre los resultados se destaca la distinción de 22 tipos de arreglos familiares, donde el 39% de estos responden a una estructura no tradicional, así como la subestimación de los hogares con jefatura femenina. Los datos observados dan lugar a la discusión sobre las transformaciones sociodemográficas experimentadas en las últimas dos décadas que han incidido en los hogares familiares, impactando su conformación y generando una diversidad de arreglos familiares que contrastan con los considerados hasta hace algunas décadas como tradicionales.
La igualdad de la equidad de género es un tema de preocupación, y por lo cual las Instituciones de Educación Superior, juegan un papel fundamental en el tema de equidad de género ya que, entre otros aspectos fundamentales de educación, fomentan los valores más fundamentales. Es por lo que este trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo descubrir las percepciones en torno a la equidad de género y su relación con la estructura familiar de los estudiantes de la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas. La metodología es con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo exploratorio con un estudio correlacional, el cual comprende dos unidades académicas y dos facultades del norte, centro y sur del estado. Los principales resultados esperados son la correlación que existe entre el género de los estudiantes y su relación con la percepción de equidad de género, así como conocer la estructura familiar y su relación con las actitudes de género, la desigualdad en los procesos sociales de los universitarios y las principales líneas de acción encaminadas a una equidad de género de acuerdo con las características de las instituciones de estudio.
Los anteriores dos sexenios gubernamentales en México se caracterizaron por la generación de entornos violentos sin precedentes, siendo el delito de desaparición una de las expresiones más graves de esta violencia, tanto por la complejidad de sus implicaciones como por su alarmante proliferación, al registrar más de 85 mil personas desaparecidas. El presente artículo expone un análisis a partir de un estudio cualitativo que tiene como objeto conocer las principales reconfiguraciones que han ocurrido en familias que han sido afectadas por la desaparición de uno o más integrantes en Tamaulipas, uno de los Estados más afectados por este delito en los últimos años. Entre los principales hallazgos se expone la vulnerabilidad padecida bajo el territorio tamaulipeco, las múltiples consecuencias que provoca la desaparición de un ser querido sobre las familias y la permanencia de la vulnerabilidad ante la continuidad de escenarios de violencia e impunidad.
