The boundary layer transition along the attachment line of a smooth swept circular cylinder in hypersonic flow is investigated in a blowdown wind tunnel. A wide range of spanwise Mach numbers Me (3.28 to 6.78) is covered with the help of different models at several sweep angles (60°--80°). The transition is indirectly detected by means of heat flux measurements. The influence of the wall to stagnation temperature ratio is investigated by cooling the model with liquid nitrogen.
This paper introduces a novel approach to assist the author during the production process of new audiovisual documents from audiovisual archives. Our research relies on rhetorical tradition to relate author's intentions to forms and contents of target audiovisual discourse. We present the different levels of structure which are involved in the authoring process, together with their associated components (topic structure, intentional discourse structure, concrete discourse structure, discursive and narrative components). The paper specially focuses on reuse of audiovisual resources and shows how the context of their indexation can be articulated with the new publication context, so emphasizing the interest of multiple discursive structures interaction. We illustrate our approach with an example of TV news publication based on political TV archives.
Le passage à l'écriture numérique est une reconfiguration qui agit sur la nature de la connaissance. Il y a un enjeu scientifique et opérationnel à étudier cette écriture renouvelée, en particulier pour la conception de systèmes, l'analyse de pratiques et l'enseignement de l'écriture numérique. Cet article y contribue sous la forme d'une étude théorique reposant sur une description à trois niveaux du numérique : théorético-idéal, techno-applicatif et sémio-rhétorique. Cette description est prolongée par une carte heuristique des fonctions de l'écriture numérique et un répertoire de figures rhétoriques et de genres d'écrits numériques.ABSTRACT. The change to digital writing amounts to a reconfiguration which affects the very nature of knowledge. There is a scientific and operational stake in the study of the characteristics inherent to this renewed form of writing, particularly for the design of systems, the analysis of practices and the teaching of digital writing. This paper contributes to such purpose with a theoretical study based on a three-level description of the Digital: theoreticoideal, techno-applicative and semio-rhetorical. This description is completed through a heuristic map of digital writing functions and a catalog of rhetorical forms and genres.
Attachment line boundary layer transition on swept cylinders is studied in a low enthalpy hypersonic wind tunnel at M :7.14. Sweep angles of 60°and 70°are used and transition is detected by means of heat flux measurements. The influence on attachment line transition of single 2D-roughness elements, in the form of tripwires or slots, as well as 3D obstacles is determined and the results are analyzed with respect to Poll's criterion.
En 1994, le projet d'une déviation routière dans le Pays d'Auge, à mi-chemin entre la vallée de la Seine et la plaine de Caen, a donné l'opportunité d'explorer un petit enclos domestique inédit de la fin de La Tène ancienne, localisé sur la commune de Fierville-les-Parcs. Ce site qui se développe en bordure de marais, sur la rive orientale de la Touques, constitue encore aujourd'hui l'unique jalon laténien de ce secteur. Il conviendra de comparer cet ensemble aux établissements et aux mobiliers des régions limitrophes.
