<p style="margin: 1em 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; -ms-text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: ES;" lang="ES"><span style="font-size: medium;">El capital social es un factor de integración con el que se pueden lograr avances en el desarrollo sostenible debido a las relaciones solidarias que se entretejen entre los miembros de un Pueblo Mágico, una región o un país. Esta investigación articula un análisis de la confianza y las redes sociales como fuentes de capital social que pueden facilitar u obstaculizado el proceso de cambio y de desarrollo sostenible en la comunidad de Tapijulapa. Los resultados obtenidos muestran la relevancia del capital social en el proceso de construcción de relaciones mutuamente beneficiosas que sirvan de sustento para generar un mayor beneficio entre sus pobladores, poniendo especial atención a la participación de individuos y agrupaciones nativas, para que en conjunto con las externas puedan consolidar las acciones, programas y proyectos.</span></span></p>
El objetivo del artículo es identificar los factores que influyen en la elección de un destino turístico en la generación conocida como millennials. El enfoque metodológico presentado es cuantitativo, utilizó la técnica de encuesta mediante un cuestionario. Este instrumento fue aplicado a 245 personas a través de un muestreo de casos-tipo, seleccionadas por su rango de edad de entre los 20 y 35 años y por haber realizado viajes vacacionales en el año anterior a la investigación. La zona de estudio fue la ciudad de Villahermosa, capital del estado de Tabasco, México. Los resultados muestran que este segmento prefiere visitar sitios turísticos culturales, que la elección del destino forma parte de una decisión familiar y que sus salarios no son muy elevados, lo anterior deberá ser tomado en consideración como un referente para los prestadores de servicios turísticos y demás actores sociales involucrados en el desarrollo de este segmento.
