Resumo: A hepatite C é uma inflamação hepática que, de acordo com a Organização Mundial da Saúde, atinge cerca de 130 milhões de pessoas. Ela pode estar relacionada a diversos fatores, como o uso de alguns fármacos, a intoxicação por agroquímicos e a contaminação por agentes infecciosos. A sintomatologia, em sua maioria, é crônica; por isso, em muitos casos, leva anos para manifestar os sintomas. Portanto, normalmente muitas pessoas são infectadas mas não sabem, visto que a identificação dos sintomas é decorrente de um longo período. Objetivo: Elucidar o impacto da Hepatite C na qualidade de vida de pacientes usuários de drogas. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica com base em artigos disponíveis nas bases de dados SciELO, LILACS e PubMed. Os descritores empregados na busca foram: hepatite C, abuso de substâncias por via intravenosa, vírus da hepatite, uso comum de agulhas e seringas, genótipo do HCV, virologia do HCV e seus correspondentes em inglês. Os critérios de inclusão foram: estudos empíricos sobre o alto risco de infecção em usuários de drogas e estudos voltados para os problemas psicológicos e sociais; e o de exclusão: artigos direcionados para outros tipos de hepatite. Ademais, apenas artigos publicados a partir do ano 2000 foram relevantes para a extração de dados. Foram encontrados 1.144 artigos. Desse total, foram apurados 31 com base nos critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Discussão: A partir dos dados encontrados, analisou-se que a Hepatite C não possui a mesma atenção social que é voltada para outras doenças, como o HIV. Além disso, foi revelado o baixo nível de conhecimentos das pessoas a respeito dessa doença. Conclusão: Com as análises, pode-se perceber a alta prevalência do vírus da hepatite C em usuários de drogas injetáveis e as consequências da manifestação silenciosa da doença seguidas pelas dificuldades de lidar com o diagnóstico -transtornos mentais e sociais.Palavras-chave Hepatite C, Drogas injetáveis, Usuários de drogas, Vulnerabilidade social. Postpartum depression can reach up to 15% of pregnant women in developed countries, 25% in underdeveloped countries and up to 40% throughout the perinatal period. Depressive mothers interact less with their children, they show less love and affection, and this may have an impact on the lives of these infants in the future. Babies who lived in this context had problems with language acquisition, cognitive impairment, delay in achieving developmental milestones, attachment insecure, low self-esteem. It is essential that the diagnosis of depression be made as early as possible so that therapeutic and preventive measures are implemented in a timely manner in order to provide healthy child growth and ensure the good mental health of these mothers.Keywords: Postpartum depression; childish behaviour; mother-child relationship; diagnosis; pharmacological treatment; combination therapy;
Carbohydrate intolerance is relatively common in childhood, but its diagnosis and management are still quite precarious. Hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI) is an autosomal recessive disease that results in deficiency of the enzyme aldolase B, which contributes to the onset of gastrointestinal and metabolic symptoms, triggered by the ingestion of foods high in fructose, sucrose or sorbitol. Methodology: For the accomplishment of such a study a search of the literature was done from August to September of the year 2018 with publication period of a maximum of 10 years. The theoretical reference was elaborated through the collection of relevant scientific articles on the subject, made in the electronic databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Pubmed, EBSCOhost and CAPES, from descriptors generated by DeCS: "Fructose Intolerance"; "Child" and its correspondents in English. Thus, 81 articles were obtained and, from the title of the literature and its abstracts, were used. 19 Ademias, articles that were related to the topics covered in this study or whose sample was not composed by humans were also discarded. The diagnosis of HFI is based on the suggestive clinical picture initiated after the ingestion of the fructose, sucrose and sorbitol already mentioned, associated with the use of invasive and noninvasive examinations, but the confirmation is based on the response to the improvement of the symptoms after the restriction of the ingestion of such food, which constitutes the best therapy. Conclusion: Based on the consequences of inadequate management of HFI, it is of fundamental importance that the affected children have an early diagnosis, associated with an adequate nutritional monitoring, which enables an improvement in the quality of life of these individuals, besides preventing important repercussions such as renal and hepatic impairment.

Type III -is characterized by severe constriction, with minimal breast base and apparent deficiency of all quadrants of the breast [1,4].However, this classification is very subjective, but the Northwood index is more objective, which is based exclusively on the hernia ion of the mammary parenchyma through the areola as a fundamental point in the development of the tuberous breast. It is calculated by the relation between the measure of parenchymal protrusion through the areola (distance from the tip of the papilla to the base of the areola measured in centimeters) and the areolar diameter measured in centimeters. The index greater than 0.4 defines a tuberous breast, which severity could be classified in mild (0.4 to 0.5), moderate (0.51 to 0.6) or severe (0.61 To 0.7) [1,5]. The early manifestation of signs of this mammary pathology could be observed since before puberty, when hormonal factors stimulate the gland and the mammary growth, due to the anterior projection of the areola-nipple complex and the peripheral expansion of the base of the breasts [3,6]. The breast represents an important symbol of woman's femininity and its deformity result in several psychological problems that, together with the sociocultural influences, motivate surgical interventions to improve its aesthetics [7][8][9]. In this report, it is described the rare case of a 14-year-old woman with tuberous breast and emotional changes as a result from these breast alterations. Case ReportD.C.S., a 14-year-old female patient from Juazeiro do Norte, in State of Ceará, was taken by her mother to the adolescent ambulatory at Maria Amélia Bezerra Children's Hospital. This hospital supports the Estácio de Sá College of Medicine, located in the same city. The teenager's mother reported changes in the appearance of adolescent breasts (Figure 1), which occurred two years ago, and behavioral disorders, such as aggression and introspection, attributed to this fact. Her mother also expressed intense desire to correct the alterations so that she could have a satisfactory anatomical and psychological development. Physical examination: shy expression, uncommunicative, but collaborative patient; hypotrophic mammary parenchyma bilaterally; breasts with enlarged areolas and the right breast was lower, showing asymmetry of both breasts; the right breast was larger than the left; finally, a constrictive ring was present at the base of the breasts (Figure 2). A two-time surgical correction was proposed SummaryThe tuberous breast is a rare pathology that affects mainly young women and is characterized by deformities that strike the breasts, such as an enlarged areola, less breast tissue, flaccidity and a close base in the fold of the breast. In the case report, it is a 14-year-old female patient with tuberous breasts and emotional disorders such as aggression, introspection and low self-esteem as a result of the psychological influence of breast changes. After medical exam, a surgical procedure and psychological t...
Bladder Cancer is one of the most common types of malignant neoplasms that affects both men and women. The surgery considered standard for the treatment of invasive tumor is Radical Cystectomy, which causes undesirable morbidity in the postoperative period on affected patients. Radical Transurethral Resection (TRU), associated with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, together form the Trimodal Therapy (TTM), which can demonstrate satisfactory results in the approach of the patient with invasive tumor with lower morbidity and well-timed survival rate, in a short time.
