Na atualidade, as sociedades passam por várias transformações de caráter: econômico, político, social e cultural. Essas transformações afetam a educação levando a uma reflexão sobre o papel das escolas e dos professores no processo educacional. Diante disso, o objetivo do estudo foi analisar a aplicabilidade de uma sequência didática (SD) para trabalhar conteúdos de Bioquímica, na educação básica, articulando Ciência-Tecnologia-Sociedade (CTS). A SD foi planejada e executada no formato de um minicurso em uma turma de ensino médio da rede pública de educação. Para tanto, foi utilizada uma abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa. Para a coleta dos dados, foram utilizados questionários e a observação. Os dados foram analisados à luz de três categorias: i) Articulação da tríade CTS; ii) Metodologia de ensino e recursos didáticos utilizados; iii) Percepções dos 3alunos sobre o processo de ensino-aprendizagem desenvolvido. Dessa forma, se fez necessário promover uma atmosfera de interação, discussão, reflexão e dialogicidade durante as aulas, possibilitando um processo educativo visando à cidadania. Diante dos resultados, observou-se que os estudantes avaliaram de maneira positiva a proposta de ensino de Bioquímica com enfoque CTS e se mostraram satisfeitos com as metodologias de ensino e com os recursos didáticos utilizados.
