This study is exploratory research with a qualitative-quantitative approach and demonstrates the socioeconomic characteristics, educational aspects, difficulties and expectations of students who are 40 years old or older in the group of the Technical Course in Accommodation – PROEJA at IFPA - Campus Santarém. The research participants who met the criteria were selected from the enrollment list and later interviewed in person through a questionnaire containing 26 open and closed questions divided into two groups: I-Socioeconomic characterization, with 15 questions and II - Educational aspects, difficulties and expectations, containing 11 questions. The results include the totality of the interviewed population being female, married and separated, unemployed, considering their learning capacity as regular, and having as main difficulty during the classes, the understanding of the teachers' explanations.
Os dispositivos eletrônicos, principalmente os móveis, fazem parte da rotina em diversos âmbitos como se comunicar, estudar e trabalhar. A tecnologia está cada vez mais presente, senão totalmente ligada, às atividades do ensino, notadamente nas modalidades à distância, remoto e híbrido. A utilização de metodologias ativas como alternativas para ensino tem se mostrado importante na facilitação do conteúdo abordado. Essa prática contribui com o aprendizado, uma vez que facilita e estimula o aluno a conhecer e aplicar determinados conteúdos, sobretudo nas ciências exatas. Tendo esta concepção como estímulo, realizou-se a criação de um aplicativo para auxiliar os alunos do ensino médio técnico nas disciplinas de matemática, química e física. Este trabalho relata uma intervenção pedagógica com o uso de aplicativos para dispositivos móveis, que foi desenvolvida no Instituto Federal do Pará, em Ananindeua, Pará, com estudantes do segundo ano do ensino médio técnico. Foi utilizada a plataforma virtual App Inventor (MIT Media Lab) em sistema Android, para o desenvolvimento do aplicativo que contém a interdisciplinaridade de matemática, química e física.
