Emotional difficulties and social interaction are two of the most difficult characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The article conducted a survey on 35 children with ASD, 55 teachers, 53 parents who are intervening in educational institutions, and showed that: Teachers and parents have initially recognized the value, aims, content, form, and methods of organizing education in emotional identification abilities in children with ASD. However, there are still numerous challenges, and the efficiency is low. Subjective elements (family, school, children themselves) and objective factors (educational programs, documentation, etc.) influence the process of teaching emotional awareness abilities to children with ASD. The lessons learned are aimed at improving the process of educating children with ASD between the ages of 5 and 6 who have emotional awareness skills.
In this article, the authors present the results of a survey on perceptions of inclusive, integrated and specialized teachers (N = 3221) about climate change and how to respond to climate change, at educational institutions of 6 provinces\cities of Vietnam. The survey results showed that the majority of teachers surveyed had the correct awareness of climate change and how to respond to climate change. However, there is still a significant portion of misconceptions. This study generalizes the current status picture of teachers' perceptions of climate change, and at the same time points out a number of factors that affect teachers' perceptions. The results of this survey provide reliable information, which is very useful for policy development, supporting the development of educational programs and training on climate change for teachers in the future. The study also mentions some limitations and directions for further research.
This study aims to find out teachers’ awareness of air pollution, how to response to it, how air pollution impact on children with disabilities and teachers’ attitudes on this issue through a survey of 3,221 teachers who are teaching in inclusive, integrated and special enviroment in 6 provinces and cities in different regions in Vietnam. The results showed that most of the teachers have the correct awareness about air pollution, responding methods with air pollution, and are aware of the negative impacts of air pollution on children with disabilities and children without disabilities, they felt worried and concerned more about this issue. According to teachers, children with disabilities suffer more negative impacts than children without disabilities. Children with chronic diseases are most affected by air pollution, followed by children with motor disabilities, then children with neurocognitive disorders, and finally, children with hearing impairment, visual impairment and children with language disability. Most of teachers were actively teaching children with disabilities deal with air pollution impact. Teachers' awareness and attitudes about air pollution and its impact on children with disabilities depend on age, working area and training status. There is a need for more research to clarify the impact of air pollution on the education of children with disabilities and education on responding skills for children with disabilities in the future.
Dyscalculia is a kind of learning disabilities. It involves grasping mathematical concepts, and symbols, the difficulty performing calculations and solving problems. Nowadays, the results of research in the field of medicine have not been able to solve the problems of brain nerve function for students with dyscalculia. However, the supporting methods in teaching "Easy Math" can reduce the effects of abnormal cognitive function in learning. The article presents the experimental results of teaching multiplication for second-grade dyscalculia students by using "Easy Math" software. The first step experiment using this teaching software has obtained positive results, which is the basis for further exploitation and further development of dyscalculia students.
