Media biology subject pushed the students to produce the media that used in learning process, but no one the student used the learning material. It made the student not creative to make the designed or created the media. To solved this problem, it need to develop the learning material based on project based learning, because in media biology subject the students must designed or created the media that used in learning. Module was helped the students learned indenpendently. It made student learned to design and create the good media that used in learning process. The purposed of this researched were to produce module based on project based learning in media biology that valid. Models and procedure of development was developed with four-D model, this researched was develop phase. Developed phase to validation the module was done in STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. The data came from the lecturer as validator. Data was obtained to determine module derived from validation sheet. Validity average of module was 97,34% and the category is very valid. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the module based on project based learning in media biology subject is very valid.
This research aims to increase student learning motivation through the use of interactive digital books based on project based learning. Biology learning strategy and design is one of the compulsory subjects that must be taken by students of the biology education study program at the University of PGRI West Sumatra and STKIP Ahlussunnah Bukititinggi. Based on observations made in the class of 2020 students who are taking biology learning strategy and design courses at the Biology Education Study Program at the University of PGRI West Sumatra and STKIP Ahlusunnah Bukittinggi, it was found the following problems, low student motivation in learning, this can be seen from students do not understand the explanation of the material presented by the lecturer, the students feel lazy when studying and do not want to read the material learned in the learning process and the boredom of students when listening to the lecturer explain the subject matter. One way that lecturers can do to increase learning motivation is to use digital books. So that with the digital book, students are expected to have the impetus or drive to carry out learning activities in higher education to achieve the learning goals they want. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The technique of collecting data is using a questionnaire, with 32 students as respondents. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning motivation through the use of interactive digital books based on Project Based Learning (PjBL). The results are very high, namely 96.37%.
Biology Learning Media Course requires students to be able to produce biology learning media. In the previous recovery, students were less creative in producing media for Biology. So students are less able to create suitable media. During this time students do not have the right learning resources in exploring creativity. For this reason, the development of project-based learning-based modules is carried out to provide appropriate learning resources and increase student creativity. The purpose of this study was to determine curriculum analysis for the development of media learning modules based on PjBL. Research is a research development using the 4D model at a defined stage. Curriculum analysis data were obtained through descriptive analysis. The results showed that 9 materials needed development in the module including communication, learning media, classification of educational media, characteristics of students and their relation to the biology learning media, the role of media in achieving learning objectives, multimedia, photography and video shooting, designing, presenting and displaying, of biology media, media scenarios biology learning. It can be concluded that there are nine materials in developing a learning media module based on PjBL.
Media is one of the intermediaries are used to convey messages from the communicator to the communicant. In Education , media known as mediator used to review convey the message that the students understand the material presented by the lecturers demonstrated to students that achieve learning objectives. Lecture requires students to be able to understand some of the standards of competence, basic competence, indicators and learning objectives set by various materials, including lecture material of animals development. One of discussion in development of animals class is neurulasi matter. Based on the research that has been done before, interactive learning media-oriented constructivism to material produced neurulasi classified in the category of valid and practical. The valid and practical research results on interactive learning media will continue to see the effectiveness of interactive learning media that has been developed based on students' learning activities. The purpose of this study is to see the results on the effectiveness of interactive learning media neurulasi material in the course of animal development based on the students' learning activities. This research is the developing research. The result of the effectiveness of interactive learning media from all aspects with the values obtained 79.4 % effective category. Based on research results that have been obtained, it can be concluded that interactive media-oriented constructivism in neurulasi material can increase the activity of learning to be effective.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
