Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) sebagai penilaian kompetensi mendasar yang diperlukan siswa pasti akan mengalami perubahan dalam penerapannya. Hal ini tentunya akan mendorong alternatif bagi setiap pendidik dalam mengembangkan kapasistas diri siswa. Untuk situasi ini, wawasan pendidik pasti akan memiliki perspektif sendiri dalam kaitannya dengan informasi yang mereka miliki. Data yang diinginkan sebenarnya ingin menggambarkan bagaimana pemahaman para pengajar dalam hal soal-soal AKM, khususnya kemampuan pemahaman. Fokus pendalaman yang akan diselesaikan adalah pada jenis-jenis soal AKM yang terdiri dari berbagai keputusan, banyak keputusan yang kompleks, menjodohkan, bagian-bagian pendek, dan penggambaran jenis-jenis soal kemampuan membaca AKM yang mereka miliki di sekolah masing-masing. Tujuan dari kajian ini antara lain untuk menggambarkan persepsi guru terhadap soal AKM literasi membaca di SMP. Kegiatan penelitian diarahkan pada SMP di Tanah Sepenggal Lintas, Kabupaten Bungo. Metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara akan menjawab tujuan penelitian ini. Informasi dari eksplorasi ini adalah sebagai pertemuan yang diarahkan pada tiga pendidik dari berbagai mata pelajaran dan terampil di bidangnya masing-masing. Eksplorasi ini menggunakan metodologi subjektif dengan strategi investigasi kontekstual. Strategi pengumpulan informasi dengan memanfaatkan pertemuan dan studi dokumentasi. Strategi investigasi informasi yang digunakan adalah penurunan, pertunjukan, dan akhir. Akibat dari review tersebut dapat diduga bahwa kesan pendidik terhadap soal kemahiran membaca AKM di SMP mendapat reaksi positif. Ini harus terlihat dari efek samping wawancara luar dan dalam yang diarahkan dengan pendidik.
