In Colombia, the use of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) is lacking because there are UNIVERSIDAD MILITAR NUEVA GRANADA -CIENCIA E INGENIERÍA NEOGRANADINA

This paper shows the results of an experimental and analytical researchon behavior of SFRC made of ZP-306 fibers, subjected to compressive stresses. The study involves the review and discussion of models available in the literature, as well as anexperimental program that included the test of 48 specimens. From a regression analysis of the measured data, equations are proposed to estimate the main mechanical properties of the SFRC, such as compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and Poisson's ratio. The equations correlate the mechanical properties with the main characteristics of steel fibers, such as content and aspect ratio.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
