In this paper, oscillatory changes in the conductance of Pd modified SnO 2 bead and Pd modified Pt coil in the presence of CO were investigated and compared. Changes in frequency were found for both sensors with varied CO concentrations. For the Pd modified SnO 2 sensor, the frequency of the waveform increased with increasing CO concentration, while for the Pd modified Pt coil, the frequency decreased. Influences of the surface temperature to CO responses were examined. The selectivity against H 2 was also tested.
Molecular Sieve Carbon IMSC) for air separation has been prepared from two Chinese coals (anthracite and bituminous coal) by carbonization followed by activation and carbon deposition. The optimum experimental conditions have been obtained for each coal and the such made MSC could separate N2 from air efficiently. Also investigated is the preparation of MSC by mixed coals of anthracite and bituminous coal. The adsorption of C02 and C2Hs on the MSC at 298K has bean studied. Dubinin theory is used to interpret the isotherms. The predominating micropores of the MSC are those having the size of 0.33-0.40 nm in diameter.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
