Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Pelaksanaan kegiatan di BKB; 2) Peran Kader BKB; 3) Optimalisasi tumbuh kembang fisik-motorik anak usia dini; 4) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat di BKB dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 orang kader, 10 keluarga balita, dan 1 PLKB. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dibuktikan dengan triangulasi data dan sumber. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini antara lain: 1) Pelaksanaan kegiatan di BKB terdiri dari kegiatan pembukaan, inti, dan penutup; 2) Peranan kader BKB meliputi peran sebagai pelaksana kegiatan, penyuluh, dan motivator; 3) Optimalisasi tumbuh kembang fisik-motorik anak usia dini yaitu dengan mengetahui tahap perkembangan anak, memberikan kebutuhan anak, menimbang tiap bulan, menjaga kebersihan anak dan lingkungan; 6) Faktor pendukung antara lain partisipasi peserta, dan dukungan pemerintah setempat. Faktor penghambat antara lain kurangnya pemahaman kader dengan materi, jumlah kader, dan kesibukan peserta BKB. Kata Kunci: Peran, Kader BKB, Tumbuh Kembang Anak Usia Dini
Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan model pendidikan kecakapan hidup dalam pembelajaran program pendidikan kesetaraan; menjelaskan keefektivan model dan dampak model dalam pencapaian tujuan standar kompetensi peserta didik. Populasi penelitian yang didesain dengan penelitian tindakan praktis (pracyical action research) adalah tutor pendidikan kesetaraan yang masih aktif di Kota Semarang. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan secara purposive random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik uji t test perpasangan. Hasil penelitian adalah penerapan model pendidikan kecakapan hidup pada awalnya masih terpisah dengan mata pelajaran yang lebih difokuskan pada aspek kecakapan vokasi. Kemampuan tutor dalam menyusun program pembelajaran dengan menjabarkan kecakapan hidup dalam materi pelajaran masih rendah. Kualifikasi kecakapan hidup peserta didik masih rendah. Setelah penerapan model, kemampuan tutor dalam menyusun program pembelajaran meningkat, termasuk pada kategori baik. Kualifikasi kecakapan hidup peserta didik meningkat secara signifikan. Penerapan model pendidikan kecakapan hidup terintegrasi dalam mata pelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi peserta didik pendidikan kesetaraan.Kata Kunci: model pendidikan kecakapan hidup; standar kompetensi lulusan; pendidikan kesetaraan
Homeschooling is an alternative education that is held in the non-formal education pathway. The purpose of this study is to investigate the application of the Homeschooling learning strategy in the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Methods of observation, documentation, personal interviews with the Chairman, public relations, academic staff, tutors. This study shows (1) A systematic learning management strategy: Learning planning with a life skillsbased curriculum, learning implementation starts with motivating students, followed by the delivery of learning material and learning evaluation is carried out every 2 weeks in learning management meetings to find out learning planning, implementation, development of children's learning, learning methods and tutor evaluation; (2) Learning delivery strategies by providing information or learning material using the new Blended learning method (face-toface and web-based online) in non-formal learning strategies in Indonesia. The limitations of this study have not yet explained the strategy of the Learning organization it undertakes.
Literacy skills provide opportunities to build society to face the global changes. This study aims to promoting the community members of the tourist village according to financial and cultural citizenship literacy as a part of multiliteracy in tourism village. This research applied descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects are 10 villagers in Jojogan Village, Wonosobo Regency. The method of data collecting use interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis begins during the data collection process, performs data reduction, data presentation, and ends with drawing conclusions and verification. The findings describe promoting financial and cultural citizenship literacy as multiliteracy in Tourism Village is carried out in the community to have a financial and cultural literacy in their daily lives as a part of tourism village community. This activity promotes literacy cultur e by adjusting their free time because the learning schedule was coming from the community member's needs. With this condition, the manager and facilitator continuously try to adjust the conditions of the community members. These literacy learning activities include reading, writing, numerating, speaking, and listening. The benefit of this research is to provide an explanation that financial and cultural citizenship literacy as a part of multiliteracy in tourism village must be done.
This study aims to describe the process of learning based on character education in natural schools. This research method is designed with qualitative research. Research subjects are early childhood education teacher in Ar-Ridlo Nature School Semarang City. Data collection by in-depth interview method, observation and documentation. Validity of data with honesty reliability, observational persistence, triangulation of sources and methods, comprehension. Analysis of interactive model data. The results showed that the nature school in Semarang City placed teachers as learning managers with duties ranging from arranging lesson plans, organizing school resources, implementing up to evaluating learning as a form of supervision. Teachers act as motivators, facilitators, mentors, modeling and students as active learning subjects. The character education system in the natural school through integrated learning in the thematic form or the net web of themes (spider web), creating a green learning environment as a science research laboratory, through gardening activities, raising, applying character-based learning as harmonization with the environment Social culture, through habituation and exemplary, inquiry based learning as a scientiest or scientist through the approach of "scientific and multiple intelligence based learning", children are given free space creative and expression in accordance with the field of intelligence of each child. Assessment of learning includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects through test and non-test techniques that teachers do by involving parents.
Education has a vital role in stimulating the growth and development of children. Currently, education is only focused on achieving cognitive outcomes, even though children need to be able to help themselves and become empowered for their lives in lifelong through life skills. This study described efforts to implement lifelong education by training life skills in early childhood in playgroups and its impacts. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were six teachers, four parents, and two students involving two playgroups. The stages of analysis data include data collection, reduction, and conclusion. The implementation of lifelong education in playgroups is carried out by providing stimulus regarding activities that trigger the growth of life skills for early childhood. Life skills in playgroups are applied through life skills centers. Life skills include social life, responsibility, self-awareness, gender awareness, decision-making, survival, and self-care. Activities related to life skills stimulate children’s lifelong learning. This research can be a reference for early childhood teachers to facilitate children learning through life skills for lifelong education.
The purpose of this research is to describe the empowerment process that includes aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and supporting factors and inhibitors of women empowerment through the home industry Batik Sekar Jagad in improving the economy family in Tanuraksan hamlet of Gemeksekti village in Kebumen district. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, observations, and documentation. The validity techniques of the data used include the triangulation of the source and method. The results of the research known that 1) the process of empowering women in the home industry Batik Sekar Jagad through the planning stage, implementation, evaluation; 2) supporting factors, among others, the support of Disperindag while the inhibiting factor among other prolonged hot weather and health conditions that began to decline.
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diselenggarakan di PKBM Tunas Bangsa Kelurahan Mangunharjo Kecamatan Tugu Kota Semarang. Dilaksanakan dalam dua kegiatan, pelatihan pembuatan aneka makanan berbahan dasar ikan dan pembentukan rintisan kelompok usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bekerjasama dengan pihak PKBM Tunas Bangsa. Pelatihan diselenggarakan dengan jumlah 15 peserta istri nelayan, yang dimentori oleh Kepala PKBM Tunas Bangsa. Pelatihan didahului adanya materi dan dilanjutkan praktik langsung. Dijumpai peserta pelatihan yang antusias dan memiliki minat untuk mengembangkannya dalam usaha. Didapatkan dua peserta yang telah mampu membuat usaha olahan makanan berbahan dasar ikan. Satu peserta memiliki usaha bakso ikan dan tahu bakso ikan, satu peserta lainnya memiliki usaha nugged ikan dan sosis ikan. Sedangkan peserta lainnya telah mampu membuat olahan makanan berbahan dasar ikan yaitu bakso ikan, tahu bakso ikan, dan nugged ikan sebagai menu makanan keluarga. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini juga memberikan dampak positif selain kepada peserta juga kepada pihak PKBM, yaitu adanya nota kerjasama antara PKBM Tunas Bangsa dengan Jurusan PLS FIP UNNES yang semoga pada tahun-tahun selanjutnya dapat menyelenggarakan berbagai kegiatan bersama dan juga memberikan ruang praktik bagi mahasiswa.
