Resumen En este artículo se presenta un análisis de los relatos de mujeres mayas contemporáneas, que narran sus experiencias cotidianas acerca de su sexualidad y vida afectiva. A partir de las entrevistas a profundidad aplicadas en el municipio de Tahdziú en Yucatán, México, realizamos una lectura feminista decolonial, tejiendo las categorías de género, clase social y etnia, en un contexto histórico y social específico. Observamos cómo se materializa la cultura patriarcal y se configuran subjetividades, roles e identidades en las formas de habitar el cuerpo femenino. Nos interesa dar voz a las mujeres mayas, que han vivido sus experiencias como cuerpo negado y silenciado, e intentar comprenderlas en su contexto, partiendo de la comprensión del cuerpo como resultado de un constructo histórico social.
