<p>The COVID-19 pandemic caused learning to be done with an online system, one of which is by using e-learning. The use of e-learning received a lot of reactions, both from the student and lecturer side. Lecturers should be able to make the best preparation, both in terms of materials, media, content, interaction and flexibility in the use of e-learning, so that students do not have difficulty in distance learning done. While students should prepare themselves as best as possible, both in terms of technology, ability, interaction with colleagues and lecturers, as well as motivation in conducting distance learning using e-learning. This study aimed to investigate student satisfaction in using e-learning as a method of distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The number of respondents in this study was 132 students. The results showed that there are several factors that need to be improved, such as materials presented in e-learning, interaction with lecturers, availability of facilities, and lecturers. Factors that should be maintained included flexibility, assessment in e-learning that is felt to be appropriate, the benefits of e-learning, and students' ability to allocate time. Meanwhile, factors that are considered less important and do not obtain priorities include peers, easy-to-understand materials, ability to learn independently and understand tasks. In addition, students consider there are several factors that are considered too excessive, namely self-motivation, ability to understand the use of e-learning, independent learning process.</p>
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan model manajemen UMKM yang dapat diaplikasikan oleh UMKM dalam usaha meningkatkan efektivitas UMKM. Model manajemen ini memuat aspek manajemen perusahaan, yaitu manajemen produksi, manajemen pemasaran, manajemen sumber daya manusia, dan manajemen keuangan, di mana pada sisi lain ada pengukuran kinerja UMKM sehingga mereka mampu mengukur kinerjanya untuk mengetahui perkembangan usahanya dari waktu ke waktu. Dalam aplikasi model manajemen UMKM nantinya, UMKM perlu melakukan analisis strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) terhadap aktivitas hariannya terkait aspek manajemen usaha sehingga secara umum UMKM tersebut dapat mengetahui perkembangan usahanya dan melakukan evaluasi terhadapnya.
The pandemic of COVID 19 has changed the learning process, from face to face and blended and fully e-learning facilitated by electronic media that can be reached by teachers and students. Lecturers and students are required to use e-learning so that they can continue learning from home or from anywhere due to the physical and social distancing imposed by the government. This study examines the quality of e-learning, student's self-efficacy, and satisfaction in using e-learning. The study involved 345 students in the Management Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, where data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Regression analysis was conducted to examine the effect of self efficacy and e-learning quality on e-learning users’ satisfaction. Financial management is one of the main problems in SMEs because if financial management does not go well, it will hamper performance and gain access to financing. Financial literacy becomes very important in financing decisions and their subsequent performance. Financial literacy enables entrepreneurs to manage risk through strategies, such as maintaining financial reserves, diversifying their investment portfolios and purchasing insurance. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of financial literacy of SME actors and to compare financial literacy between male and female SME actors. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to SME actors, with a sample of 384 SME actors in the culinary field. The results showed that the financial knowledge, financial attitudes and financial behavior of SME actors were good, meaning that they were able to carry out financial management well. Meanwhile, there are differences in financial knowledge and financial behavior between male and female SME actors, but the financial attitudes between male and female SME actors do not show any difference.
Tourism is one of the largest service industries and provides opportunities and hope for any destination to capitalize on it, create jobs and support other sectors. The demographics of the young and large Muslim market, the rapid economic growth of Muslim-majority countries, Islamic values encourage the growth of Islamic business and lifestyle, the growth of trade transactions between Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) countries, are the motors of the growth of the global Muslim market. This is what encourages the emergence of halal tourism. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of destination image and consumer behavior on consumer decisions in choosing halal destinations. The number of samples in this study were 150 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis to examine the partial and simultaneous effect of destination image and consumer decisions on consumer decisions in choosing halal destinations. The results showed that partially the image of the destination and consumer behavior had a negative effect on consumer decisions in choosing halal destinations. Meanwhile, simultaneously, destination image and consumer behavior have a positive effect on consumer decisions in choosinghalal destinations. This shows that simultaneously, the image of a destination owned by a halal destination and consumer behavior influence consumer decisions in choosing a halal destination, so it is very important to maintain the image of the halal destination, so that it really shows halal in the true sharia aspect.
This article aims to examine the factors that influence organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). OCB relates to the effort used by one employee to do extra things in the organization. OCB can influence organization performance and contribute to organizational successfulness. OCB includes organizational compliance, organizational loyalty and organizational participation. The factors that influence OCB are job satisfaction, leadership, and organizational climate. Through job satisfaction that is felt by employees, effective leadership, and a positive organizational climate, employees will be willing to do more than just formal tasks and deliver performance beyond organizational expectations.
The existence of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) in the Indonesian economy has a big role and potential in developing the national and sectoral economy absorbing a large number of workers. The development of UKM in the university environment is one of the responsibilities of the university and is a necessity to involve universities as a driving force for the emergence of young entrepreneurs in the campus environment. The Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra has formed a special institution that deals with student entrepreneurship issues, namely PUSKIIBI (Center for Entrepreneurship Innovation and Business Incubator). The research was conducted using the independent interview method, collecting institutional documents and institutional policies, and information related to student activities. From the data set and information, the formulation is carried out. Model of Institutional Synergy in Student Entrepreneurship Development at UMSU. This study aims to determine what institutions and the involvement of these institutions in supporting the progress of entrepreneurship in umsu and to create a model of institutional synergy that directly or indirectly synergizes with Puskiibi. From the research results obtained 1) the role of puskiibi as incubator is, access to community and business networking, support from experienced mentors, validation of ideas, infrastructure assistance, access to investors. 2) Related institutions that support the success of student entrepreneurship are SRCC, Study Programs in UMSU, LP2M, Halal Studies Center, and Haki Center. 3) The synergy model that must be developed is the recruitment of start-up candidates obtained from PKM-K participating students who have been netted by SRCC, student essays with downstream potential and student entrepreneurship independent campus participants obtained from Prodi, research lecturers with industrial potential from LP2M and alumni who come to register directly at PUSKIIBI. Furthermore, PUSKIIBI provides assistance, the certificate is only in synergy with the UMSU Halal Study Center and for the management of Trademarks and Patents through the UMSU HAKI Center.
Entrepreneurial education is a carefully planned process that leads to acquiring entrepreneurial capacity and competence, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to drive entrepreneurial success. Many goals are achieved by organizing entrepreneurial education and promoting entrepreneurial orientation. In reality, only a few students choose a career as an entrepreneur, even though they have received an entrepreneurship education. Entrepreneurship orientation is crucial because it shows innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking. This study aimed to examine how entrepreneurship education promotes entrepreneurial orientation. By conducting explanatory research, the researcher intends to investigate entrepreneurship education's effect on medical students' entrepreneurial orientation. The research was conducted on medical students who took the entrepreneurial block, with the number of respondents as many as 113 students, where data collection was conducted with questionnaires. The results were obtained that entrepreneurial education can promote entrepreneurial orientation in medical students. Entrepreneurs who have an entrepreneurial orientation will be able to identify new opportunities, create tangible and intangible resources for innovation, and opportunities to launch innovative products. It must be supported by entrepreneurship education in which the quality of the application of standards, curriculum, and learning methods can promote student entrepreneurial orientation and assess entrepreneurial activities.
