Desafios da saúde pública no Brasil: relação entre zoonoses e saneamento A saúde no Brasil deu início no período colonial a partir do século XIX, porém o Ministério da Saúde somente foi construído em 25 de julho de 1953 com a lei nº 1.920. Desde ano de 1950 até o final do século passado, o investimento em saneamento básico no Brasil ocorreu pontualmente em alguns períodos específicos. O objetivo do presente trabalho é gerar uma discussão acerca da relação entre as zoonoses mais frequentes no país e o saneamento dando ênfase também nas medidas preventivas de doenças emergentes e re-emergentes no território nacional. As doenças zoonóticas são aquelas transmitidas dos animais para os humanos, as mais conhecidas são Doença de chagas, Raiva, Leishmanioses, Leptospirose, Febre Amarela, Dengue e Malária. As ações humanas sobre o ambiente como a urbanização, pecuária e industrialização vêm proporcionando um maior contato entre seres humanos, animais silvestres e domésticos, facilitando assim a proliferação de agentes infecciosos. Nos últimos anos, tem-se notado episódios de novas enfermidades bem como o reaparecimento de doenças datadas como erradicadas. Diante de todo trabalho realizado acrescentou-se medidas para a melhoria e prevenção de algumas zoonoses, a importância dos serviços de saneamento básico na prevenção de doenças e ações na preservação do ambiente.Palavras-chave: Saneamento; Saúde Pública; Zoonoses.Challenges of public health in Brazil: relationship between zoonoses and sanitationHealth in Brazil began in the colonial period from the nineteenth century, but the Ministry of Health was only built on July 25, 1953 with the law n.1920. From the 1950s to the end of the last century, investment in basic sanitation in Brazil took place on a few specific periods. The objective of the present work is to generate a discussion about the relationship between the most frequent zoonoses in the country and the sanitation, emphasizing also the preventive measures of emerging and re-emergent diseases in the national territory. Zoonotic diseases are those transmitted from animals to humans, the most known of which are Chagas disease, Rabies, Leishmaniasis, Leptospirosis, Yellow Fever, Dengue and Malaria. Human actions on the environment such as urbanization, livestock and industrialization have provided greater contact between humans, wild and domestic animals, thus facilitating the proliferation of infectious agents. In recent years, there have been episodes of new illnesses as well as the reappearance of diseases dating as eradicated. In the light of all the work done, there were added measures for the improvement and prevention of some zoonoses, the importance of basic sanitation services in the prevention of diseases and actions in the preservation of the environment.Keywords: Sanitation; Public Health; Zoonoses. RESUMOO termo analfabetismo ambiental surgiu na conferência RIO-92 após destacarem a necessidade da implementação de um modelo sustentável que determinasse a relação das pessoas com os problemas ambientais, a fim de formar cidadãos comprometidos com as questões socioambientais. Neste contexto, a pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o analfabetismo ambiental acerca da percepção dos docentes e discentes do Ensino Médio no município de Guaraí-TO, buscando identificar esse possível analfabetismo. Para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho foram utilizados recursos que auxiliassem nos levantamentos de dados, possibilitando uma visão mais clara desse possível analfabetismo por parte de professores e alunos. Através do uso de questionário e observações com o intuito de descrever as características dos entrevistados, foi possível perceber entre os professores uma visão predominantemente globalizada, ressaltando a relação homem-natureza e entre os alunos prevaleceu uma visão antropocêntrica, evidenciando a natureza como fonte de recursos para a sobrevivência humana. Foi possível perceber que os estudantes e profissionais da educação conhecem os conceitos básicos de ambiente, mas não possuem uma noção clara e objetiva de sua real dimensão. Com essa análise, será possível traçar estratégias e realizar trabalhos de educação ambiental que possam contribuir para que esta comunidade escolar consiga facilmente compreender a complexidade do tema e as possíveis consequências da degradação ambiental e ;sociocultural.Palavras-chave: Percepção Ambiental, Analfabetismo, Ambiente e Educação Ambiental.
O preenchimento facial com ácido hialurônico é um procedimento minimamente invasivo que vem se destacando positivamente ao longo dos anos na área da Biomedicina estética. Devido à grande demanda por opções não cirúrgicas, surgiram na harmonização facial, técnicas referentes ao uso de preenchedores dérmicos, que são capazes de proporcionar aumento de volume, equilíbrio simétrico e restauração dos contornos faciais, promovendo o rejuvenescimento. Objetivo: Realizar uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o uso do ácido hialurônico como preenchedor na harmonização facial dentro das extensões estéticas, bem como analisar as intercorrências acometidas pelo ácido hialurônico. Método: Tratou-se de um estudo exploratório e descritiva. A construção da revisão foi feita através de um levantamento utilizando artigos científicos e periódicos, selecionadas a partir das fontes: Google Acadêmico, PubMed e Scielo. Resultados: Foram analisados os artigos mais relevantes, a fim de se obter uma melhor execução do trabalho, desenvolvendo informações quanto à literatura a respeito deste tema. Conclusão: É notável que o uso do ácido hialurônico injetável vem crescendo a cada dia, e tem um papel fundamental nos tratamentos para prevenção e gerenciamento do envelhecimento, e através disso vem conquistando lugar de destaque, melhorando assim o bem estar físico, mental e social do paciente.
A educação ambiental conta com diversas ferramentas, sendo que uma delas é a Pegada Ecológica, conceito que aponta o índice de sustentabilidade, considerando a constatação de que os países mais desenvolvidos são os que geram os maiores impactos ecológicos no planeta, e isso se deve ao estilo de vida que seus habitantes levam com altos níveis de consumo. O seguinte trabalho teve como objetivo investigar quais são as principais causas que dificultam esses países alcançarem o índice da Pegada Ecológica e o seu papel na educação ambiental. Para a realização deste trabalho, foram feitas análises qualitativas e descritivas através de uma revisão de literatura. Concluindo que para manter o índice da Pegada Ecológica sob medida é preciso ir além do consumo comedido, escolhendo representantes que também tenham essa consciência ambiental, garantir que o máximo de pessoas tenham seus direitos humanos preservados, optar por produtos e serviços de empresas que se preocupam em preservar os recursos naturais, hábitos alimentares mais vegetarianos, em ciência com inovação tecnológica e utilização de energias renováveis. Entende-se como dever de todos a preservação do planeta, bem como a imprescindível necessidade de investir e aprimorar a educação ambiental e deixá-la ao alcance de todos.
No presente estudo objetivou-se avaliar a qualidade microbiológica de queijos frescos e sua viabilidade comercial. Para tanto, foram avaliadas 80 amostras de queijos de diferentes produtores para confirmação de coliformes totais e termotolerantes. A partir das culturas positivas foram empregadas para identificação por correlação a aparência colonial, coloração de Gram y provas bioquímicas. Além disso, avaliou-se a sensibilidade antimicrobiana in vitro e o índice de resistência múltipla aos antimicrobianos. Em 97,5% das amostras foi confirmada a presença de Escherichia coli e em 2,5% foi identificada a existência de Klebsiella pneumoniae. As cepas de E. coli (84,8%) evidenciaram alta sensibilidade aos antibióticos, enquanto que 100 % das cepas de K. pneumoniae foram multirresitentes. Pelos resultados obtidos concluiu-se que os queijos apresentaram baixa qualidade microbiológica, deficiência das condições higiênico sanitárias, representando um risco potencial que este produto pode significar para a saúde pública.
