We propose the 3-D correlation imaging for gravity anomalies and gravity gradiometry data. We also propose to use the 3-D correlation imaging based on anomaly separation to improve the resolution of the imaging. The test on the gravity anomalies and the gravity gradiometry data of the synthesized Y-type dykes model and the synthesized multiple rectangular prism model show that the method can image the spatial extension states and the distribution of equivalent excess masses of geological anomalous bodies with high resolution both vertically and horizontally.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
