A socio,cultural component has long been blamed for the excessive concern with the appearance of women. Typically, the media is blamed for creating an impossible thin ideal as a model for women to emulate, and such images in magazines and on TV have been cast as the cause of widespread use of excessive dieting and eating disorders to achieve the "unachievable". The onset of theses two diseases typically occur during early adolescence or early adulthood when most young women are not only susceptible to cultural pressure for thinness and whiteness but also likely to be heavily involved with, and influenced by the mass media. This point may help explain how cultural images of one's reference group, may constitute an inescapable group that can have negative consequences as it is incorporated into local culture. The susceptibility to these pressures and influences from the media is believed to be heightened because of the fact that intense preoccupied with appearance and identity development characterizes adolescent girls.
This study aims to determine the effect of Service Quality, Product Quality, Experiential Marketing and Location as a independent variable by Intervening Consumer Satisfaction on Purchasing Intention as a dependent variable at McDonald's Green Garden Kedoya Branch. The method of analysis used in this research is Path Analysis or path analysis. The results of this study indicate that service quality has a positive influence on customer satisfaction, while product quality has no effect on customer satisfaction. Experiential marketing has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, as well as location which has a positive influence on customer satisfaction. Service quality does not have a positive effect on repurchase interest, but product quality has a positive and significant impact on consumer repurchase interest. Meanwhile, experiential marketing also does not have a positive influence on consumer Repurchase Interest, location has a positive and significant influence on consumer Repurchase Interest
The purpose of this research is to observe the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on lecturer work performance and also to explore the moderation effect of lecturer certification on the correlation between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence towards the lecturer work performance. This research uses the quantitative approach by applying the survey method based on primary data. Data is collected from 306 respondents who are full-time lecturers in Pelita Harapan University, with 59 indicator questions under the category of emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and lecturer work performance. The sampling technique in this research is simple random sampling. The Analyzing instrument used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS - SEM). The result of the research reveals that emotional intelligence positively and significantly influences lecturer work performance, lecture certification does not give a positive influence in moderating between spiritual intelligence and lecturer work performance. This result of this research is beneficial for Higher Education in determining policies or descisions that will be taken in the management and the improvement of lecturer work performancer.
This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee performance. The effect of organizational commitment mediates the relationship between work motivation on employee performance and job satisfaction on employee performance and psychological capital, which moderates the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance. The object of this research is the employees of the state civil apparatus. They work in government agencies in the education sector of the Directorate of Senior High Schools in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with one hundred and ten respondents, sampling using a saturated sample technique, and a questionnaire as a measuring tool. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to test the model's suitability in this study with the help of the SmartPLS version 3 application. The results of this study conclude that work motivation, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction affect employee performance, organizational commitment can mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance but cannot mediate the relationship between work motivation and employee performance, and psychological capital can moderate the relationship between job satisfaction with employee performance.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (a) Mendeskripsikan perasaan remajatentang kepergian ibu TKW, (b) Mendeskripsikan persepsi remajatentang pekerjaan ibu sebagai TKW, (c) Mendeskripsikan perilakuattachment (keterikatan) remaja yang memiliki ibu TKW, dan (d)Mendeskripsikan self-esteem (harga diri) remaja yang memiliki ibuTKW khususnya yang bersumber dari keluarga. Jenis penelitianyang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif studi intrinsik, dimanapenelitian dilakukan karena ketertarikan atau kepedulian padasatu kasus khusus. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (a)Keempat subjek merasakan kesedihan saat ditinggalkan oleh sangibu pada awalnya (saat masih anak-anak), namun berangsur-angsurtiga subjek (H, P, dan D) bisa beradaptasi sehingga saat remajadapat menerima keadaan tersebut. Hanya ada satu subjek (A) yangsampai saat ini masih terus merasa sedih dengan kepergian ibunya,hal ini ada kaitannya dengan ketidaktersedian figur attachmentpengganti sang ibu dari keluarga. (b) Tiga subjek (A, H, dan P)memiliki persepsi positif mengenai pekerjaan sang ibu sebagai TKW(pekerjaan mulia, halal, sumber keuangan, pahlawan keluarga, danpahlawan devisa) sedangkan satu subjek (D) menilai sebenarnyapekerjaan ibunya sebagai TKW kurang layak tetapi ini adalahpekerjaan yang halal. (c) Tiga subjek (H, P, dan D) menemukanfigur attachment pengganti setelah kepergian sang ibu dari keluarga.Sedangkan subjek A tidak menemukan figur attachment penggantiibu dari pihak keluarga sehingga ia mencari figur attachment dariluar keluarga (sahabat A beserta keluarganya). (d) Self esteemdipengaruhi kuat oleh keharmonisan keluarga. Dari 4 subjek, hanyasatu (P) yang merasa bahwa keluarganya harmonis meskipun ibubekerja sebagai TKW. 3 subjek lainnya (A, H, dan D) menilai bahwa keluarga mereka tidak harmonis. Kondisi keluarga yang tidakharmonis tidak mendukung terbangunnya self-esteem yang positifsehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa self-esteem dari aspek keluargapada subjek A, H, dan D adalah negatif.
