Country classification is useful from both firms' and countries' side. Firms may use the classification to decide which countries to operate in and countries may use it for their development. As there is evidence that the development of a country relates on export competitiveness, this study tries to reveal specifically sector groups' relationships with it and how the countries can be classified according to the country export competitiveness. As a result, Turkey's position is evaluated and the importance of technology advancement is discussed.

The main aim of this research is to investigate social media addiction of university students. In line with this aim the comparisons were made between the levels of social media addictions of university students and their ages, sexes, daily usage time of social media, purpose of social media use and so on. The research was conducted as survey model and the data was collected from 1034 university students by using social media addiction scale consisting of 41 items and 4 factors (Occupation, Mood modification, Relapse and Conflict). The findings of the survey revealed that female students were more occupied with and received more emotional support from social media compared to male students. On the other hand male students found to be more conflicted with social media which shows that they were more negatively affected compared to females.

Bu araştırmada sosyal medya kullanımın her geçen gün hızla yayıldığı toplumda yer alan farklı kuşakların değişen değer ve davranışlarının belirlenebilmesi amacıyla bir dizi ölçek geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılıklarının incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Eyüp ilçesindeki 6 farklı okulda öğrenim gören 473 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin sosyal medya bağımlılıklarını belirlemek amacıyla Tutgun Ünal ve Deniz (2015) tarafından geliştirilen "Sosyal Medya Bağımlılığı Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada genel olarak lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medyaya orta seviyede bağımlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılıklarının cinsiyet, okul türü, sınıf seviyesi, sosyal medya kullanım yılı, günlük ortalama internet kullanım süresi gibi değişkenler açısından farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarının sosyal medya bağımlılığı konusundaki alan yazına katkı sağlayacağı umulmaktadır.
