Objectives: To verify the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms among nursing workers at a teaching university hospital in Rio Grande do Sul, and to identify socio-demographic and labor variables associated with those symptoms. Methods: Transversal study involving 491 nursing workers at a teaching university hospital in Rio Grande do Sul. It was used the Brazilian version of the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire to identify the musculoskeletal. Results: Among participants, 96.3% reported pain in some part of the body in the last year, 73.1 % in the last seven days and 65.8% difficulties in daily activities; pain in the spinal column was the most frequent mentioned by workers; socio-demographic characteristics (being a woman, extremes of age, minor children, little education, obesity, tabaccoism) and labor characteristics (technician or auxiliary nurse, night shift work, strenuous physical labor) were associated with pain in various regions. Objective. Identify the actions conducted by primary health care nurses for women in situations of domestic violence. Methodology. Exploratory-descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Participants were 17 nurses who worked in the Basic Health Unit in a city in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews and the information processing was performed using the interview content analysis technique. Results. By acting in a context of the violence, the nurses describe some elements and strategies they use that allow recognition and action to combat violence, namely: acceptance and empathy, establishing a bond of trust between the professional and the woman, dialogue, and intent listening. The limitations mentioned by participants were: lack of professional training to address the situation, feeling of unpreparedness, lack of time for the workload, the professional's difficulty in recognizing and dealing with violence given its complexity, low efficiency of the service network, and the sense of professional impotence against the gravity and complexity involved in violence. Conclusion. The participants are not adequately prepared to care for women in situations of domestic violence. It is necessary that this issue be addressed in the training of nursing professionals.Key words: nursing care; primary health care; spouses; violence against women. Resumo OBJETIVO Analisar o registro da Nota de Transferência (NT) e a emissão do Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) realizados pelo enfermeiro em pacientes adultos transferidos do Serviço de Emergência como estratégia de comunicação efetiva para a segurança do paciente. MÉTODO Estudo transversal retrospectivo desenvolvido em um hospital de ensino no Sul do Brasil que avaliou 8028 prontuários eletrônicos no ano de 2017. Procedeu-se a análise descritiva. RESULTADOS A realização da NT atingiu a meta institucional de 95% nos meses de janeiro e fevereiro, ficando abaixo da meta nos demais meses. A mensuração do MEWS foi realizada em 85,6% (n=6.870) dos prontuários. Destes pacientes, 96,8% (n=6.652) possuíam MEWS não alterado. CONCLUSÃO A NT e o MEWS estão inseridos no trabalho do enfermeiro, no entanto, são necessárias ações com vistas a qualificar a segurança do paciente, melhorando a comunicação efetiva e, por conseguinte, diminuindo a possibilidade de ocorrências de eventos adversos.

OBJECTIVE To learn the conceptions and actions of health professionals on the care network for women in situations of violence. METHOD A qualitative, descriptive, exploratory study was conducted between April and July 2015 with the participation of 21 health professionals from four primary health care teams in a city of the central region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected by means of individual semi-structured interviews. Content analysis was used for data systematization. RESULTS Health professionals recognized the importance of the health care network for coping with the problem of violence against women. However, their conceptions and actions were limited by the discoordination or absence of integration among professionals and services of the care network. CONCLUSION The conceptions and actions of health professionals contribute to the discoordination among the services. It is necessary to reflect on the daily practices of care for women in situations of violence.

Objective: to analyze the possibilities of help/support through the mapping and acknowledgement of the social network of women who denounce experiences of violence at a Police Precinct for Women. Method: qualitative study based on the theoretical-methodological framework of Lia Sanicola's Social Network, through interviews with 19 women. Results: the analysis of the network maps evidenced that the primary social network was more present than the secondary on and, despite consisting of significant relations, it demonstrates limitations. The women access the secondary network occasionally in the violence problem and/or its repercussions in their life and health. The discrete presence of the health network in the composition of the social network was revealed and, when mentioned, the relation between the health professional and the woman was characterized as fragile. Conclusion: the importance of the social network relates to the creation of spaces of help/support for the women beyond the moment of the aggression, which accompany them throughout their process of emancipation from an experience annulled by violence, considering that each woman acts and makes decisions in the relational context when she is ready for it.

Método: Estudio con abordaje cualitativo. Participaron 10 enfermeras de la Estrategia de Salud de la Familia. Recolección por medio de un grupo focal. Se utilizó el análisis de contenido, resultando en cuatro categorías: Silenciada e Invisibilizada; El SIM de la violencia como cuestión de Salud Pública; El desconocido de la notificación; Saliendo de escena.Resultados: El tema de la violencia contra la mujer es complejo y de difícil abordaje en los servicios de salud, requiriendo de los enfermeros mayor interacción y conocimiento sobre el tema, para calificar la terapéutica de los casos. Revealing these actions is important to qualify nursing care in relation to the other health professionals and care services for women victims of violence.

Objective To know the strategies used by nurses of Units of Family Health Strategies to identify and cope with the violence situation by intimate partners of pregnant women. Method Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, in which semi-structured interviews were conducted with 23 primary care nurses from September 2015 to April 2016. Thematic content analysis was used. Results The category "It's very complex" has emerged - actions to identify and cope with the violence situation by intimate partners of pregnant women. Physical injuries were the main violence indicative identified at prenatal care. The coping strategies were the referrals to specialized services and joint discussion with healthcare team. Conclusion There's a need to organize a nursing protocol that helps in the identification and classification of risk exposure to violence, permanent education of these professionals and strengthening of intersectoral actions.
