The paper presents the study on the physical properties of the cuttings. Culvert capacity of the drill cuttings with different coagulants is considered. The water permeability of the studied samples varies depending on the quality of the composition and the dosage of a coagulant used. The coagulants have been proposed as aluminium sulphate, iron sulphate, calcium chloride, gypsum, phosphogypsum, serpentine, blast furnace slag, calcium carbonate and carnallite. Iron and aluminium sulphates, calcium chloride, gypsum and phosphogypsum appear to be the most effective when acting on the water permeability in the drill cuttings. With regard to the variants incorporating the complete response curve, the optimal dose of ameliorant can be determined after maximum filtration of water in the column. This method allows the dose of coagulant to be determined by the filtration threshold. The optimal dose for iron sulphate is 0.8 g; with this parameter the volume of filtered water reaches 16.80 ml / day.The use of effective coagulants allows displacement of sodium and potassium cations from the absorption complex and fundamentally improves its physical and chemical properties; this is clearly seen by the change of the filtration capacity of the considered sample. Phosphogypsum – a waste material of chemical industry of Ural chemical plants - is of the greatest interest. It can significantly improve the properties of the considered sample when transforming two waste materials (drill cuttings and phosphogypsum) to a neutral environmentally-friendly state.
Abstract. The emergence of many agricultural enterprises of different forms of ownership has led to the need for consulting firms. The proposed solution involves the creation of consulting technology in the field of agribusiness on the basis of specialized universities. The paper presents an analysis of the positive aspects of the use of the scientific potential of the agrarian University in providing farmers with consulting services. The perspective directions of development of consultant technologies are revealed. On the basis of the state agrarian University, the system of rendering services is studied, the most actual directions for an agricultural producer are allocated. It is established that consultations on introduction of results of own research and developmental works on plant growing bring the greatest income-26%; animal husbandry-22%; economy and accounting -25.3% of the total amount of the income. Creation of consulting departments on the basis of agrarian universities through the system analysis providing interrelation between scientists and the agricultural producer is offered. One of the main functions of such departments will be to collect information on the demand of the producer for certain scientific developments and participate in the formation of research strategy at the University.
Abstract. The problem of rational use of saline soils, as applied to the specific region, becomes one of the most important in Russia as well as abroad. The article reflects potential possibility to include these soils in the development of urban environment. This will allow us to extend the degree of use of the demographic capacity, as applied to the Siberian and Ural cities. The areas of these lands in respect to this territory makes up more than 10 mln ha. To include these soils in the development of the urban environment of small and large cities on the level of zonal soils, it's required necessary chemical melioration.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
