RESUMO A permanência do trabalhador no mercado de trabalho é de grande importância para a economia do país. Isso se dá, principalmente, devido ao ganho de capital humano adquirido pelo trabalhador, especialmente quando jovem.Dentro dessa perspectiva, este trabalho busca analisar as incidências de rotatividade entre empregos dos jovens brasileiros nos anos de 2001, 2009 e 2015, bem como avaliar os aspectos que determinam maiores níveis de rotatividade,especificamente,para o ano de 2015. Para tanto, com base nos dados da Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (PNAD)do ano de 2015, aplicou-se o modelo econométrico Logit Ordenado para identificar os fatores que se associam ao comportamento de indivíduos em diferentes faixas etárias, no que concerne às suas propensões a estarem em um nível de alta ou baixa rotatividade no mercado de trabalho. Os resultados evidenciaram que pessoas de 18 a 35 anossão mais propensosa saírem do emprego e que fatores como maior escolaridade diminui a probabilidade de ter alto nível de rotatividade no mercado de trabalho.
Este estudo investiga as principais características da vulnerabilidade quanto à Insegurança Alimentar (IA) no Brasil. Para tal, é utilizada a Pesquisa de Orçamentos Familiares – POF de 2017-2018, em conjunto com a Escala Brasileira de Insegurança Alimentar (EBIA). São levantadas características domiciliares e individuais de todos os brasileiros, e os que estão em situação de IA são classificados em cada nível da escala (leve, moderado e grave). Esta classificação permite relacionar o quanto cada uma das características analisadas influencia no fato de se estar em situação de IA, tanto no sentido geral, como em cada um dos níveis específicos. Os resultados apontam que as mulheres, negros e pardos, e residentes das regiões Norte e Nordeste do Brasil são mais vulneráveis a IA, enquanto os indivíduos com mais anos de estudo e uma maior renda per capita possuem menores chances de estarem em situação de Insegurança Alimentar.
O artigo investiga o perfil dos trabalhadores insatisfeitos no mercado de trabalho brasileiro nos anos de 2005 e 2015, assim como busca identificar os fatores que contribuíram para as mudanças de probabilidades de estar insatisfeito encontradas entre esses dois períodos. Para tanto, foram utilizados dados da PNAD de 2005 e 2015 e o modelo probit. Com base nessas informações, busca-se decompor as diferenças das probabilidades encontradas e verificar o quanto cada covariada contribuiu para tal desigualdade. Os resultados mostraram que trabalhadores chefes de família e negros tiveram suas probabilidades positivas para ambos os anos analisados. Já os trabalhadores formais, obtiveram probabilidades negativas para a insatisfação no emprego, assim como os trabalhadores que vivem na zona rural os quais possuem probabilidades menores do que os moradores da zona urbana de estarem insatisfeitos nos seus postos de trabalho. A diferença de probabilidade do trabalhador insatisfeito entre os anos de 2005 e 2015 é explicada principalmente por diferenças não observáveis associadas às transformações do mercado de trabalho no período.
