Service outsourcing has become widespread in the electric energy sector in Brazil. In this article, we present a case study of an innovative model for outsourcing management designed by a large electric energy distribution organization in Brazil, which outsources core and support business processes. This article reports how this company faced the challenges imposed after suffering serious operational problems with outsourcing companies and the innovative approach that was taken in order to improve performance and reduce safety risks. Post-implementation results corroborate the positive financial and operational consequences of the innovative model.
Outsourcing activities have been expanded through the whole value chain in the Brazilian electric energy distribution sector, including services which are part of the firm's core business. Diante desse cenário, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os modelos da gestão da terceirização desenvolvidos por duas distribuidoras brasileiras de energia elétrica. Foram realizadas visitas e entrevistas in loco, com stakeholders das distribuidoras e das empresas terceirizadas. Resumen: La presente investigación tiene por finalidad hacer una explanación acerca de la importancia del capital humano en las organizaciones. A través de pesquisas bibliográficas fue desarrollado un artículo científico capaz mostrar cuáles son las competencias que lo gestor necesita para obtener diferencial competitivo en la organización. En este trabajo se presentará un estudio de cómo el uso de las competencias puede ayudar el administrador en su relacionamiento con los compañeros de trabajo, y cómo ello contribuye para la valoración del capital intelectual de las organizaciones transformando la embestida en el equipo en ganancias corporativas. Los principales puntos del trabajo son exponer las competencias del administrador y las competencias de las organizaciones, mostrando que esto es una gran embestida en capacitación y desarrollo organizacional y no un costo, como muchas organizaciones todavía piensan, mismo viviendo en pleno siglo XXI.

Management by Competencies: Fashion, Slogan or organizational development?Abstract: The purpose of this research is to explain the importance of human capital in organizations. Through bibliographic research a scientific article was developed able to show which are the competences that the manager needs to obtain a competitive differential in the organization. This paper will present a study of how the use of competencies can help the administrator in his relationship with colleagues, and how this contributes to the valuation of the intellectual capital of organizations transforming the onslaught on the team in corporate profits. The main points of the work are to expose the competences of the administrator and the competencies of the organizations, showing that this is a great onslaught in training and organizational development and not a cost, as many organizations still think, even living in the XXI century.
This paper presents an analysis of the relationship between Virtual Organization Inheritance and Organizational Memory. It also frames the concept of process management as being an element of Organizational Memory under the scope of Collaborative Networked Organizations (CNOs). The authors argue that the transformations occurring in processes executed by Virtual Organizations are members in order to improve their performance as time passes by.
