Chúng tôi tái tạo hình ảnh chụp cắt lớp đám mây electron lớp ngoài cùng (HOMO) từ phổ phát xạ sóng điều hòa bậc cao (HHG) của phân tử N2 khi xét đến hiệu ứng định phương không hoàn toàn. Chúng tôi đã sử dụng hai cách khác nhau để mô tả hàm phân bố định phương – (i) giải chính xác bằng số phương trình Schrӧdinger phụ thuộc vào thời gian, và (ii) gần đúng bằng hàm giải tích. Chúng tôi nghiên cứu lí thuyết về ảnh hưởng của phân cực động lõi-electron lên sự phát xạ sóng điều hòa bậc cao của phân tử đối xứng CO2 bằng cách giải số phương trình Schrӧdinger phụ thuộc thời gian trong gần đúng một electron hoạt động. Dựa vào việc phân tích quy luật từ tốc độ ion hóa, ảnh hưởng của phân cực động lõi-electron được dự đoán là làm thay đổi không đáng kể cường độ HHG của phân tử CO2. Các kết quả tính toán HHG cũng cho thấy ảnh hưởng của phân cực động lõi-electron nhìn chung là không đáng kể nhưng sẽ có ảnh hưởng lớn đến cường độ của những bậc xảy ra hiệu ứng giao thoa
