Objetivo: Analisar como a disponibilidade dos implantes pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) contribui para a melhora e promoção de saúde. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, feita entre setembro e dezembro de 2022, nas bases de dados SCIELO, LILACS, BVS e pelo mecanismo de busca do Google Acadêmico, com auxílio dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): Implante Dentário, Sistema Único de Saúde, Políticas de Saúde, Serviços de Saúde Bucal. Os critérios de inclusão: estudos em português e inglês, no período entre 2016 e 2022 e gratuitos. Os critérios de exclusão: trabalhos incompletos ou duplicados, teses, resumos, resenhas e estudos fora do escopo. Após as buscas e triagem, 10 artigos foram escolhidos para compor a amostra final. Resultados: Em dezembro de 2010, o SUS passou a financiar procedimentos de implante dentário osteointegrado e prótese dentária sobre implante. O tratamento proporciona, estabilidade dentária, reestabelecimento da mastigação, estimula a regeneração óssea, melhora da fala, impedimento de futuras doenças relacionadas ao uso de próteses, e por fim, repõe o sorriso. Considerações finais: Ao ofertar implantes dentários osteointegrados a qualquer usuário brasileiro, o SUS promove a saúde, em virtude da melhora da qualidade de vida do paciente, em geral.
