Résumé L’évaluation individuelle des magistrats administratifs sert avant tout leur carrière. En mesurant principalement leur performance, l’idée est qu’ils soient récompensés de leurs efforts par un avancement, voire une prime, la logique indemnitaire suivant de près celle utilisée par le chef de juridiction pour conduire l’entretien d’évaluation. Partant, c’est une vision tronquée de la qualité qui est proposée, car réduite à la simple mesure du professionnalisme du magistrat. L’article se propose alors de dépasser cette dimension en inscrivant le système d’évaluation individuelle des magistrats dans une perspective plus globale d’amélioration de la qualité d’ensemble de la justice administrative.
