From the first Industrial Revolution to Industry 4.0, technological advances have had a great influence on the increase in industrial productivity, highlighting characteristics such as the incorporation of information and productivity gains through the connection between University, Industry and Government, to measure the indices of scientific production and dissemination of knowledge, helping to develop the innovative potential of a nation, a quantitative and statistical technique called bibliometrics is used. In this context, this research proposes to identify the pillars of technological advancement and the indicators of scientific production in Industry 4.0. In order to verify the panorama of the exploration of the theme and to reach the objective of the research, quantitative and descriptive analysis was carried out with bibliometric procedures in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, from which 259 and 280 scientific articles were extracted respectively. The analysed data allowed the identification of pillars of technological advancement of Industry 4.0 and provided indicators of the quantity of articles published between 2013 and 2019, of countries with greater and less research prominence, and of quantitative distribution of publications by University. The results proved to be promising for the development of new research on this theme.
The prospective scenarios technique conducts strategic planning as a futuristic signpost for the management goals of Industry 4.0 in its technological advances, directed towards the development of productive digitalization and creation of value connected to Intellectual Capital as an aggregator of economic value in the organizational process. The objective of this research is to propose a hybrid modality of bibliometrics and the prospective scenario technique for Industry 4.0 associated with Intellectual Capital. In the methodological stages of this study, the insertion of the Bibliometric Laws of Lotka, Bradford, and Zipf and its informative potential stand out, aiming to assist in the decision-making process of strategic planners.
The high rate of staff turnover has caused concern in the industrial sector, not only for the loss of labor, but also because it directly implies the capacity for innovation, which is essential for the development of companies in a globalized market. Therefore, the objective of this work was to study the relationship between human resource turnover, known as Turnover, and innovation in the Sergipe food industry. A documentary search was carried out in the RAIS, CAGED databases to verify the turnover rate of the industries and a mapping of the patent deposits in the databases of the National Institute of Industrial Property, European Patent Office and World Intellectual Property Organization. When analyzing the average remuneration of the workers, it is noticed that the mineral extractive sector has the highest average remuneration of the state, so it was made the comparison with the food sector, when calculating the turnover rate of both sectors, it was verified that the food industry has a higher than extractive turnover rate. In addition, the Mineral Extractive Industry has a greater number of patent deposits compared to the Food Industry. In this way, it is understood that there is a relation between the turnover rate and the innovation of the sectors, since the Mining Extractive Industry, since it is a sector with higher qualified personnel and with a lower turnover rate, presented a larger quantity of patent deposits in comparison with the Food Industry which presented a higher rate of turnover.
