RESUMO Objetivo: sumarizar as dissertações e teses produzidas por enfermeiros disponíveis no Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da Associação Brasileira de Enfermagem, do volume XIX ao XXXII, que abordam a segurança do paciente. Método: pesquisa documental. Após coleta de dados, analisaram-se as seguintes variáveis: nível acadêmico, instituição de ensino, ano, local, tipo de serviço, objeto de estudo, desenho metodológico, sujeitos, protocolo prioritário de segurança do paciente, implicações e recomendações finais. Resultados: encontrados 8.720 resumos, dos quais 53 (0,61%) foram analisados. Houve predomínio de dissertações (n=19; 35,85%) relacionadas à redução do risco de quedas e úlcera por pressão (n=24; 45,28%), do tipo descritivo (n=21; 39,62%), quantitativo (n=16; 30,19%), no cenário hospitalar (n=16; 30,19%), utilizando escalas e protocolos (n=6; 11,32%). Conclusão: observou-se tendência para desenvolvimento de estudos relacionados à segurança do paciente no cenário hospitalar, com ênfase na redução do risco de úlcera por pressão.
Objectives: to analyze the main non-conformities of the nursing records of a public hospital in Natal, Brazil. Methods: this is a descriptive, cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach. This study was conducted in nursing departments of medical and surgical wards. The sample was composed of 120 medical records of inpatients between October and December 2016. The obtained data were tabulated and analyzed by simple statistics in absolute and relative frequency using the 2013 Microsoft Excel software. The Pareto Diagram was used to evaluate the non-conformities of the records. Results: the main problems in the nursing records were the absence of the professional category and the nursing council number, responsible for 41.8% of the non-conformities in the records of nursing technicians; for nurses' records, the main non-conformities were the absence of time and the illegible handwriting, with 61.2%. Conclusions: the study showed that nursing professionals perform their records incompletely and often do not document the care provided. Amostra composta de 120 prontuários de pacientes internados entre outubro e dezembro de 2016. Os dados obtidos foram tabulados e analisados por estatística simples em frequência absoluta e relativa com o software Microsoft Excel 2013. Para avaliar as não conformidades dos registros, usou-se o Diagrama de Pareto. Resultados: como principais problemas nos registros de enfermagem, destacou-se a ausência da categoria profissional e número do conselho, responsáveis por 41,8% das não conformidades nos registros de técnicos de enfermagem, enquanto nas anotações dos enfermeiros foram a ausência de hora e as letras ilegíveis, com 61,2%. Conclusões: o estudo evidenciou que os profissionais de enfermagem realizam seus registros de forma incompleta e que muitas vezes não documentam o cuidado prestado. Objective: To identify and map nursing care to the adult patient with Healthcare-Associated Infections admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Method: Scoping Review, conducted in January 2018, through the search of studies in national and international databases, journals, catalogs of theses and dissertations, and websites of Brazilian health institutions. We included full surveys published in the Portuguese, Spanish or English language; which had as object of study the researched subject, besides manuals and protocols. We analyzed the type of material, year, country, population, method, Level of Evidence, and nursing care. The final sample consisted of 33 publications. Results: Among the nursing care to the patient, hand hygiene was identified, general care in nursing procedures, use of protocols, effective communication and periodic training. Conclusion: Identifying patient care with infection was important in order to list methods and reorient nursing activities.

Métodos: revisão bibliométrica da literatura cuja busca dos estudos se deu nas bases de dados PubMed, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Scopus, Web of Science e Science Direct. Obteve-se uma amostra de 12 artigos com análise dos dados por estatística descritiva. Resultados: todos os artigos são do tipo descritivo (nível de evidência 4) e 91,7% possuem abordagem qualitativa (n=11); também foi encontrado o predomínio do uso de tecnologias leve-duras, com enfoque na importância da educação em saúde e aprimoramento de conhecimentos e habilidades. Conclusão: o uso e articulação entre as tecnologias leve, leve-dura e dura nos serviços de saúde tem grande contribuição para a segurança do cuidado.
