Introdução Introdução Introdução Introdução IntroduçãoA sexualidade aparece nas ciências sociais como uma instância na qual a articulação entre cultura e subjetividade emerge de maneira particularmente intrincada e de difícil apreensão -como um fenômeno que parece resistir a qualquer tipo de separação entre o social e o intrapsíquico, mesmo nas ocasiões em que estas esferas são tomadas como estritamente analíticas e reconhecidamente artificiais. Quando refletimos mais especificamente sobre o que Michel Foucault (2012) chama de uma pedagogia da sexualidade, ou sobre como certos "saberes" eróticos se apresentam, transitam, e são finalmente incorporados e performatizados pelo indivíduo através de processos sofisticados, evidencia-se a necessidade de olharmos mais demorada e cuidadosamente para as operações de apropriação dos variados tipos de conhecimento sobre o erotismo e o sexo.716 Estudos Feministas, Florianópolis, 24(3): 715-737, setembro-dezembro/2016 FABIOLA ROHDEN E LARISSA COSTA DUARTE Por meio de uma comparação entre os casos da pornografia e da sexologia -que constituem dois destes saberes ao qual Foucault (2012) se refere -, refletimos, ao longo do presente texto, sobre questões mais amplas, como as variadas manifestações da sexualidade na cultura, a construção de roteiros eróticos, as operações através das quais o sexo é materializado e trazido à existência por meio do que chamamos de "gênero". Partimos da ideia de que estes dois exemplos são saberes sexuais que compartilham referências e formas de atuação muito significativas que produzem corpos sexuados através da reiteração e recitação de certas normas de gênero. É importante dizer que não estamos discutindo aqui as imensas variações concretas tanto na pornografia quanto na sexologia contemporâneas, mas, trazendo à tona as linhas de intersecção que parecem caracterizar a trajetória inaugural destes dois saberes nos seus marcos mais fundamentais, e nos seus contextos de emergência, como mostraremos a seguir.Para tal, precisamos recordar que a visão da sexualidade humana como quase indistinta da sexualidade animal -e, portanto, pertencente a um domínio pré-humano e não cultural, -só passou a ser problematizada pelas ciências sociais de maneira mais sistemática quando Marcel Mauss (2003) e outros autores sugeriram que os humanos aprendem qualquer técnica corporal através de observação, mímica, instrução formal, informal e outros recursos sociais. Não demorou para que esta interpretação fosse extrapolada para o estudo da sexualidade. Ao propor a teoria dos "roteiros sexuais", na década de 1970, por exemplo, John H. Gagnon (2006) e William Simon (apud Jeffrey ESCOFFIER, 2006) tiveram um papel central no desenvolvimento de uma abordagem do sexo que não apenas refutava perspectivas biologizantes, mas que oferecia uma alternativa persuasiva fundamentalmente calcada em teorias sociais. Desde sua eclosão na década de 1980 na forma de epidemia, a AIDS tem sido principalmente associada a homossexuais masculinos: inicialmente partindo da literatura médica, essa visão espalhou-se também para o público leigo e mantém-se viva no imaginário popular, ainda que, a partir da década de 1990, tenha havido um movimento para reconhecer a parcela cada vez mais vitimada pela síndrome: mulheres heterossexuais. A essa progressão, deu-se o nome de feminização do HIV/AIDS, uma narrativa sobre uma suposta mudança no perfil da epidemia. Neste artigo, analisamos o fenômeno de feminização da doença partindo de uma reflexão sobre como a epidemia foi produzida pela medicina desde os seus anos iniciais. Na tentativa de compreender os processos pelos quais algumas narrativas científicas – que se constituíram, em determinado momento, como uma alternativa possível dentre uma variedade de versões – se estabeleceram como mais factuais que as demais, analisamos desde estratégias de produção textual e discursiva até estruturas históricas de opressão de minorias sociais.
