O objetivo deste estudo tem por base revelar os impactos da pandemia da COVID-19 na gestação. O artigo adotou o modelo de revisão sistemática, utilizando as bases de dados SciELO, PubMed e Google Acadêmico, por meio dos descritores “Coronavírus” e “Gravidez”. Foram selecionados vinte artigos completos, publicados a partir de 2020 até o presente momento. Percebeu-se que a gravidez é um estado imunológico único, no qual ocorrem modificações fisiológicas e mecânicas na interface materno-fetal, o que faz com que as gestantes sejam mais suscetíveis à infecções virais. Assim, com a pandemia da COVID-19, embora os estudos não demonstrem que mulheres grávidas apresentem maior deterioração do quadro clínico quando comparadas à população geral, observou-se modificações que podem implicar em complicações gestacionais, como pré-eclâmpsia, prematuridade, ruptura precoce de membrana e morte perinatal. Dessa forma, é importante a atenção à esse grupo, com enfoque aos sinais de alarme para casos de acometimento moderado a grave, com fornecimento de suporte clínico, através da internação em isolamento, de nutrição adequada, de fornecimento de oxigênio suplementar (se necessário), da observação da ingestão de líquidos e de eletrólitos, bem como a monitorização de sinais vitais de mãe e feto. Ademais, a realização do pré-natal, intraparto e pós-parto não deve ser exclusa, mas ajustada. Em situações de suspeita ou infecção confirmada, recomenda-se que agendamentos de consultas e procedimentos sejam postergados em no mínimo 7 dias, até 14 dias; e a telemedicina é uma opção para priorizar a saúde das gestantes e o isolamento social.
O parto representa o último estágio da concepção no organismo materno. Durante esse período, a parturiente vivencia uma das percepções dolorosas mais marcantes, cabendo aos profissionais, de forma humanizada, trazer alívio à mulher. A dor é uma experiência emocional e sensorial desagradável, associada a lesões reais ou potenciais. Sob esse aspecto, busca-se suprir a assistência humanizada, que tem extrema importância, com o uso de métodos para alivio da dor, que não levarão a gestante a passar por uma gama de intervenções farmacológicas, o qual muitas vezes podem ser desnecessárias, visto que é de suma importância quando se pensa na importância de manter o estado fisiológico. Diante disso, realizou-se uma revisão integrativa de literatura, descrita como um método de pesquisa que permite a busca, avaliação crítica e a síntese das evidencias disponíveis do tema estudado. Nesse aspecto, é possível perceber que já é conhecido que existem métodos não farmacológicos que favorecem efetivamente na diminuição da dor e da ansiedade durante o parto. Logo, sugere-se mais pesquisas sobre os benefícios de tais métodos, confirmando que estas técnicas são realmente eficazes para a redução da dor e da ansiedade decorrentes do período de parto e possam, dessa forma, serem mais aplicadas nos serviços de assistência obstétrica.
Este estudo teve como objetivo elucidar de que forma as alterações genéticas provocadas pela Síndrome de Down (SD) impactam nos casos de acometimento pelo SARS-CoV-2, além de expor como o isolamento social pode afetar negativamente a vida de indivíduos com SD. O estudo adotou o modelo de revisão literária qualitativa, através das bases de dados Google Acadêmico, SciELO e PubMed, por meio dos descritores “Down Syndrome” e “Coronavirus”, sendo selecionados vinte artigos. Percebeu-se que a SD é a forma genética mais comum de deficiência intelectual e as alterações que a trissomia do cromossomo 21 acarretam, impactam significativamente no curso da doença de pessoas com SD infectadas pelo Coronavírus, já que o sistema imune delas é hiperativado, com capacidade para gerar uma chuva de citocinas, que facilitará a entrada do vírus nas células, favorecendo, assim, a replicação viral. Ademais, notou-se que, mesmo o isolamento social sendo eficaz no combate à pandemia, ele pode acarretar diversos danos à saúde da população com SD, o que pode agravar certas comorbidades pré-existentes nesse grupo. Portanto, é muito relevante a vigilância e a capacitação dessa população e de suas famílias, para que previnam-se de forma correta – com técnica eficaz de lavagem de mãos e uso de equipamentos de barreira – minimizando a exposição ao vírus; e a socialização e a prática de atividade física – mesmo durante os períodos de quarentena e de forma remota – de maneira que preserve-se a saúde emocional e física desses indivíduos.
