The purposes of this research are: (1) To classify the Sasak verbal-spells based on the variations of the language being used and the purpose of its implementation; and (2) to describe the function and its usage for the Sasak people in general and Ganggelang villagers, North Lombok in particular. This research uses a qualitative research method that both descriptive-interpretative. One of the reasons for choosing such a method is because it is compatible with the purpose of this research which is to document and describe the usage of Sasak verbal-spells. The data are collected by interviewing informants and gathering the results of the verbal-spells, its usage, and function by the Sasak people. To classify the data based on the language medium, a hermeneutic approach has been employed. The data analysis refers to perspective-constructivist model, that is directed by the intentions, categories that have been determined, and hypotheses that are aimed to be achieved. The result of this research, which is the verbal-spells then analyzed based on the language such as Arabic (verbal and written) spells, mixed between Sasak and Arabic spells, and Balinese spells or known as Puji Bali. Based on its purpose of implementation, Sasak verbal-spells are categorized into for healing purposes, Senggeger: a type of voodoo to attract the loved ones, Seasih-asih: to make one falls in love, supernatural power, and draining someone’s (physical) energy/power. Based on its function and practical usage, the Sasak verbal-spells have functions as healing/preventing diseases, to Seasih-asih purposes, to Senggeger/sencolet purposes, as a medium to ease childbirth processes, to counter other’s spells (sengkeles), and to counter possible dangers or destructions (sepenebeng/ajian kekebalan) and to drain someone’s energy.
The purposes of the research are (1) to increase the activity of student in writing poem byapplying creative and productive studying model through Lesson Study activities; and (2) toincrease the quality of expressive poetry writing process through Lesson Study activities. Inorder to achieve the goals, Lesson Study includes planning, executing, and observing. Theall three stages have been done in four time/cycles in the Lesson Study lectures. Lecturesand every cycle (1 to 4), had been focused on expressive modern poetry writing based ontopic such as private name, disastrous event, beauty of nature, social events/problem, andpolitical problem. Every part of study has been presented/done in creative and productivestudying model which is based on fundamental principles of creative and productivelearning such as orientation, exploration, interpretation, and re-creation. The result of thisresearch are (1) implementation of creative and productive studying model based oncontextual problem through Lesson Study activity in creative literature writing, especiallymodern poetry writing can increase the creativity of students, (2) creative and productivestudying model through Lesson Study activity can increase quality of creative literaturewriting subject . It can be seen from the increasing in liveliness, self-service andcooperation and motivation of the student in solving tasks that had been assigned in thestudy. It is noteworthy that students also think that this method is interesting and enjoyable.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap wujud kepercayaan dan bentuk-bentuk kearifan lokal Sasak dari mitos Sribanun beserta eksistensinya dalam masyarakat Dusun Marang Utara, Desa Kotaraja, Lombok Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Data didapatkan dari informan-informan terseleksi, yakni sesepuh masyarakat Dusun Marang Utara dan pemangku adat setempat yang bertugas menjaga kelestarian budaya lokal masyarakat Kotaraja. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pereduksian data, penyajian data, penganalisisan data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Dusun Marang Utara, Kotaraja, masih meyakini mitos Sribanun memiliki kekuatan mistis dalam kehidupan mereka. Kepercayaan terkait mitos ini diwujudkan dalam beberapa bentuk kearifan lokal setempat berupa pengambilan bubus, tolak bala, pesilaq Sribanun, dan membuang pakaian dalam ke atap rumah. Kearifan lokal tersebut hingga saat ini masih eksis dan dilestarikan oleh sebagian masyarakat Dusun Marang Utara, Kotaraja.Kata kunci: antropologi sastra, Sribanun, kepercayaan, kearifan lokal, eksistensi
Masyarakat suku Sasak pada umumnya dan penutur bahasa Sasak dialek nggeto-nggete, khususnya yang berdomisili di desa Wanasaba, Kecamatan Wanasaba, Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat memiliki perbedaan status sosial. Perbedaan status sosial ini disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, antara lain (1) status kebangsawanan, (2) status ekonomi, (3) tingkat pendidikan (tinggi rendahnya pendidikan seseorang), dan (4) status sosial karena seseorang telah menjadi haji. Variasi status sosial tersebut mempengaruhi kegiatan interaksi sosial, termasuk keunikan di dalam interaksi berbahasa, seperti cara menyapa, memberi salam, dan cara memanggil. Dengan kata lain, variasi-variasi tersebut menuntut cara menyapa, memberi salam, dan cara memanggil yang berbeda antara satu dan lainnya. Bagi masyarakat Wanasaba, perbedaan status sosial sangat berperan dalam mengubah bentuk sapaan/panggilan.
The aim of this research is to analyse the development model in learning Indonesian language through puppet creation media in fifth-grade students of elementary school NW Rekat Lauk. The research is research and development. It orients the development to produce and test a product of language learning media through puppet creation. Direct interviews conducted the research step. The development steps were product design, expert validation, and testing. The learning media by using puppet creation which developed and used based on the media expert which categorized “good enough” because it was between 26,04<x<33,96 with a total score was 27 and the mean was 2,7. It categorized the material expert “good” between 30,6 <x<16,8 with a total score was 32 and the mean was 27. The learning result of the highest score was 85, the lowest score 55, the number of minimum total criteria was 60, and the percentage was 88,23%. The students’ learning response were excellent students who answered “no” showed which no” with the mean percentage of “yes” was “97,05%. And “No” were 2,95 %. Thus, media of learning by using puppet creation can influence the students’ learning outcomes.
