A Azadirachta indica A. Juss (Neen) tem grande importância etnomedicinal, sendo conhecida por seu poder inseticida e para diversos fins terapêuticos como medicamento popular. Estudos demonstram que endófitos isolados de plantas medicinais têm potencial como fonte alternativa de metabólitos secundários. Mais de 400 compostos foram isolados de diferentes partes do Neen, incluindo metabólitos secundários bioativos importantes, como azadiractina, nimbidin, nimbin, nimbolide, gedunin, contudo, os metabólitos de fungos já isolados e caracterizados mostraram que mais da metade das moléculas apresentam atividade antibacteriana, antifúngica e antitumoral. Penicilina, cefalosporina, ergotrato e as estatinas são metabólitos secundários fúngicos. No presente trabalho objetivou - se realizar uma revisão da literatura sobre os produtos bioativos provenientes de fungos endofíticos da Azadirachta indica e a suas aplicações. Atividades provenientes de extratos de partes da planta (folhas, caules, raízes) ou do cultivo e seleção de outros endófitos, que não do reino Fungi, foram excluídos. Foram encontrados nas bases de dados 11 artigos que apresentam 12 diferentes fungos endofíticos, isolados da Azadirachta indica, com a produção de diferentes metabólitos secundários e aplicações variadas. Ações antimicrobianas, antifúngicas, atividades inseticidas, nematicidas e melhoria nos mecanismos de adaptação da planta. Trinta e quatro metabólitos foram identificados e testados em diferentes técnicas e aplicações.
