The importance of the competence of principals and teacher discipline is one of the determinants for increasing teacher productivity and school success. This research aims to determine the effect of principal managerial competence and teacher discipline on teacher productivity. This study uses quantitative analysis with the ex post facto method. The population of this study was 115 teachers spread across 7 State Elementary Schools in Telen District, East Kalimantan Province. By using the cluster random sampling technique, a sample of 68 teachers was obtained. Instruments were used with a questionnaire. The results of data analysis using multiple linear regression concluded that the principal managerial competence had a significant effect on teacher productivity, teaching discipline had a significant effect on teacher productivity, and principal managerial competence and teacher discipline had a significant effect on teacher productivity. This research can increase teacher productivity in the success of the school in achieving its goals. Keywords: Principal’s managerial competence, teacher discipline, teacher productivity.
Women’s representation in leadership positions is still low because there is still an opinion that women are not worthy of being leaders and only men are worthy of being leaders. This condition proves women’s low participation in leadership roles because the patriarchal culture still strongly influences people’s perspective. This paper aims to describe the roles and positions of women in school management. The research data are in the form of observations and interviews with female school principals and four male vice principals. The qualitative method with a gender perspective is used to identify women’s leadership style in Elementary School 002, Muara Badak District. The results showed that the principal in Muara Badak District prefers masculine characters and maintains a feminine character. It has an impact on assertiveness in controlling the school management process. Second, in carrying out school management functions, the principal’s leadership style applies a democratic leadership style. As a leader, participation seeks to provide trust and establish good communication by prioritising teamwork in decision-making. Keywords: Women’s leadership, school management, gender perspective.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen OMC yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik serta perbedaan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test pada materi usaha dan energi yang diukur dengan OMC setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Discovery. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Long Kali Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIA-2 sebanyak 31 peserta didik dan subyek untuk uji empiris sebanyak 142 peserta didik. Dari uji coba instrumen diperoleh 24 butir soal yang layak digunakan dengan reliabilitas instrumen 0,81. Berdasarkan analisis pemahaman konsep dengan OMC diketahui bahwa 6% peserta didik masih berada pada level naive concept, 29% peserta didik berada pada level hybrid concept, 45% peserta didik berada pada level simple concept, dan 35% peserta didik berada pada level different concept, serta berdasarkan standar ketuntasan belajar pemahaman konsep peserta didik memperoleh ratarata nilai post-test 78 dan sebanyak 94% peserta didik mendapatkan nilai di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Hasil uji T berpasangan, menunjukkan nilai thitung= 10,803 lebih besar dari ttabel= 1,697. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata nilai post-test dan pre-test peserta didik, dimana rata-rata nilai post-test (78) lebih besar dari rata-rata nilai pre-test (63).
Pembelajaran fisika siswa di sekolah menengah banyak menuntut siswa untuk lebih aktif belajar mandiri disamping pembelajaran yang dilakukan di kelas. Melalui e-learning berbantuan google classroom dan zoom sebagai pengganti sarana tatap muka, peserta didik dapat leluasa belajar secara mandiri dan melakukan diskusi dengan pengajar dimanapun dan kapanpun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa, hasil belajar siswa, dan pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 6 Samarinda. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling dengan sampel kelas X TKRO 2 sebanyak 30 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran serta tes awal dan tes akhir untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa respon siswa termasuk dalam kategori baik. Analisis hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa kelas X TKRO 2 memperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,59 yang terkategori sedang dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 70,20. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t berpasangan diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model e- learning berbantuan google classroom dan zoom terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, pembelajaran e- learning ini sesuai digunakan untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan belajar siswa di masa pandemi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menerapkan respon model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis media aplikasi di SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksprimental dengan desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini yaitu Purposive Sampling dengan sampel kelas X Mipa sebanyak 38 orang. Pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes awal dan tes akhir yang kemudian di analisis menggunakan N-Gain serta menganalisis angket respon. Hasil analisis diperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,34 termasuk dalam kriteria sedang. Hasil analisis angket menunjukan bahwa siswa memberikan respon yang baik. Respon siswa yang memberikan tanggapan cukup baik sebesar 23,6%, dan tanggapan baik sebesar 76,3%. Hasil uji regresi didapatkan t hitung sebesar 7,167 untuk nilai t tabel sebesar 2,028. Berdasarkan nilai R square sebesar 0,588 menunjukan bahwa 58,80% berarti ada pengaruh respon model discovery learning berbasis media aplikasi terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa.
The purpose of this study was to unfold the management of lecturers at Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda (UINSI Samarinda), and to observe the leader's decision-making in the management of lecturers at UINSI Samarinda. The type of this research is qualitative research using a case study approach. Data collection techniques were done in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique that the researcher used in this study was interactive data analysis by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana from data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested with credibility, transferability, and confirmability. The results of this study indicate that the management of lecturers at UINSI Samarinda was directed in several phases. In the planning phase, there are some steps; the analysis of lecturer needs, recruitment, and selection. The next phase is the placement phase; the lecturers are placed dynamically referring to the lecturer’s expertise and the needs of the department. Then, the education and training phase gives an opportunity for the lecturers to continue their studies. In the career development phase, the lecturer's career is in line with his/her educational background and the lecturer's performance. Career development and lecturer performance assessment really depend on the leader’s policy. Lecturer performance assessment is carried out through a policy verified by two assessors and approved by the direct supervisor. The implication of this research is that the strategy or local wisdom which is the best practice of this institution can be used as a model for lecturer management and innovative decision-making by the leader in the human resource development of a university.

Pengumpulan data\menggunakanxteknik tes berupa 10 butir soal essai untuk mengetahui\hasilxbelajar/siswa yaitu-berupa/pre-test dan post-test./Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa\terdapat pengaruhXpenggunaanLmodel\problem/based/learning berbantuan e-learning berbasis MOODLE terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari selisih rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen 71,17 dan kelas kontrol 58,37 dengan perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai-t hitung 3,951 dan probabilitas sig. 0,000. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
The COVID-19 pandemic pushed many schools to create hybrid learning systems due to drastic changes in the learning environment. Technology and knowledge have advanced swiftly in the 21st century. As the foundation of education, the school is expected to foster students' 4C skills, one of which is critical thinking. This study aimed to analyze how students' critical thinking skills changed after studying harmonic motion using the guided inquiry model and scientific approach. The study used a quantitative method with the pre-experimental design's one-group pre-test post-test procedure. A 10-question essay was used to obtain data from 31 students in grade X IPA 3. The findings indicated that students' critical thinking skills improved, with an N-Gain score of 0.72. As well as implications for this study, there were significant differences in critical thinking participants were educated with the T-test sample pair after using the santific suppression with the guided inquiry model.
