AbstractBaby massage has a very positive effect on the baby's growth process. This type of research is Quasi experimental with the design of the pretest-posttest contol group design. The research location is the Mokoau Health Center in Kendari City. The population is infants aged 3 -9 months. The results of the study showed that descriptively after being given a baby massage video the majority of the mothers were 66.67% of mothers of babies skilled in doing baby massage. And after being given the majority of baby massage, 93.33% of babies have normal motor development. Inferentially it is known that there is a significant difference in the massage skills of the mothers of the treatment group and the control group with a p-value = 0.001 <α = 0.05 with a value of t-count = 6.162. Likewise, there was a significant difference in motoric development of infants in the treatment group given massage and control groups without being given massage with p-value = 0.031 <α = 0.05 with t-count = 2.269. Thus it can be concluded that the provision of baby massage videos is effective in increasing the mother's baby massage skills and the provision of baby massage is effective in increasing the motor development of infants aged 3 -9 months.
