Electrical resistance measurements are performed by a complex impedance method which permits the evaluation of the contributions due to the resistance of the bulk material and the grain boundaries. It is found that the dielectric and resonance magnetic losses can be improved to a certain degree by the average grain size.

The influence of the substituents on the prefiring conditions of nickel ferrites from the system Nix1Cux2Cox3Znx4Mnx5Alx6Fex7O4 where 0.14 ≤ x1 ≤ 1;0 ≤ x2 ≤ 0.3; 0 ≤ x3 ≤ 0.06; 0 ≤ x4 ≤ 0.5; 0 ≤ x5 ≤ 0.06; 0 ≤ x6 ≤ 0.2; 1.8 ≤ x7 ≤ 2.1 is investigated. It is found that the prefiring conditions influence the resonance line width of the ferrite materials. The optimal degree of ferrite formation which should be obtained during the prefiring is determined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
