Die Ergebnisse langfristiger Fütterungen von Schweinen lassen erkennen, daß das im Futter enthaltene Fett je nach Menge und Zusammensetzung unterschiedliche Mechanismen im Stoffwechsel auslöst. Neben der reinen Energielieferung wurde eine Beeinflussung der körpereigenen de‐novo‐Synthese und eine dosisabhängige Speicherung im Gewebe beobachtet. Ferner kommt es zu gegenseitiger Beeinflussung der ungesättigten Fettsäuren im Metabolismus sowie zu Veränderungen in der Zusammensetzung der membrangebundenen Phospholipide.
Aus dem in der 1. Mitt. ausfihrlich beschriebenen Fiitterungsversuch werden von allen 72 Tieren die Lebem auf Gehalt und Zusammensetzung der Lipide untersucht. Die unterschiedlichen Futterfette, auch solchemit hohen Gehaltenan Linol-und Linolensaure, habenkeinenEinfluDaufden Gesamtlipid-Gehalt der Lebem. Die Hemmung der metabolischen Ubefiuhrung von Linol-in Amhidonsaure durch Linolensaure und in etwas geringerem AusmaJ3 durch Olsaure wird bestatigt. Femer beeinflussen die exogenen Fettauren die Konzentration der Phospholipide und der Triglyceride in den Lebem. Diese beiden Lipidklassen reagieren in der Fettsaurezusammensetzung unterschiedlich auf die Futterfette.
