Os sinais e sintomas da disfunção temporomandibular (DTM) são multifatoriais assim como sua etiologia, sua frequência é de 75% na população em geral. A Cefaleia é um sintoma muito frequente na população de forma geral, os gastos socioeconômicos diretos e indiretos da cefaleia para a população são estimados em 14 bilhões por ano. Avaliar a severidade dos sinais e sintomas de DTM e a prevalência de cefaleia em indivíduos de comunidades ribeirinhas. Estudo transversal, os dados foram coletados nos meses de Março, Abril e Maio de 2019, foram incluídos indivíduos de ambos os gêneros, 18 a 40 anos, que residiam no povoado de Bonfim município de Arari- MA, em um raio de 5 km do rio, excluídos aqueles que se recusaram a participar do estudo ou que não completaram todas as etapas. A severidade dos sinais e sintomas de DTM foi feita através do Índice Anamnésico de Fonseca por um avaliador cego em relação ao diagnóstico de DTM. Para avaliar a presença de cefaleia foi aplicado questionário desenvolvido no Hospital das clinicas de Ribeirão Preto - SP elaborado segundo a Classificação internacional das cefaleias. O estudo foi aprovado pelo comitê de ética em pesquisa da Universidade CEUMA com o parecer nº da aprovação nº 2.477.570, os dados foram analisados pelo Excel. Foram avaliados n=30 indivíduos, n=12 (40%) do gênero masculino e n=18 (60%) Feminino. A Média e DP (±) dos dados sociodemográficos como peso 67.3 (±8.6), idade 45.6 (±15) e altura 164.8 (±8.4) estiveram mais elevadas no gênero masculino. Quanto a prevalência dos tipos de cefaleia, no gênero masculino foi Sem cefaleia n=6 (50%) e Migrânea n=3 (25%), e no feminino CTT n=8 (44,44%) e outras Cefaleias n=4 (22,22%). índices de severidade de DTM mostraram que ambos os gêneros apresentaram maiores índices de severidade, Masculino Sem DTM n=4(33,33%) e DTM Leve n=6 (50%) e Feminino, Sem DTM n=7 (38,89%) e DTM Leve n=8 (44,44%). Concluiuse que, a prevalência de cefa- leia e a severidade de sinais e sintomas de DTM nas comunidades ribeirinhas da Amazônia legal foi elevada.
RESUMO -Foi realizado um estudo de variáveis operacionais de um modelo de bancada de uma torre de saturação induzida (TSI) com estágios, para tratamento de águas oleosas. O princípio de funcionamento da TSI teve como base as analogias de estágios de uma coluna de destilação e de reatores de mistura perfeita (CSTR's), em série, aplicados à uma coluna de flotação por ar dissolvido (FAD). O modelo de bancada foi construído em acrílico, PVC, ABS e alumínio estrutural e operou com capacidade máxima de 33 L . h -1 . Para identificação de condições operacionais preliminares da TSI foi aplicada a metodologia de Análise de Componentes Principais (ACP) a variáveis relevantes. Selecionou-se como parâmetros relevantes para esta análise: a vazão de alimentação, a pressão na descarga da bomba de alimentação e geração de microbolhas, a vazão de ar para geração de microbolhas e a vazão de arraste da espuma oleosa. Apenas um único componente principal (CP1) foi responsável por 95,87% da variância total do conjunto de dados. INTRODUÇÃOPela sua alta eficiência de separação água-óleo a flotação por ar dissolvido (FAD) tem recebido atenção especial dos pesquisadores da área de processos de tratamento águas oleosas. Dessa forma, um processo recente de "coalescência-adsorção preferencial foi desenvolvido e aplicado em uma coluna de flotação para separação óleo-água, dentro de uma estrutura única (Huang et al., 2017).Apesar dos esforços de pesquisadores para implementarem flotadores com formatos mais eficientes, como os flotadores em coluna, estes equipamentos parecem não ter correspondido às expectativas de aumentar a eficiência de separação em relação ao espaço físico ocupado. Apesar do aumento do tempo de contato, devido ao comprimento da coluna, isto não tem sido traduzido em aumento de eficiência. No presente trabalho procurou-se identificar as variáveis operacionais relevantes e suas influências sobre a eficiência do sistema, como estratégia para se chegar a condições adequadas de funcionamento em uma TSI.
