We demonstrated a HD+ resolution (1600 x 900) full color AMOLED display panel by applying optical cavity design on white OLED and combined with high transparency color filter. This panel achieved a record-high real pixel density as 413 ppi for mobile apparatus and should be suitable for applications pursuing high-quality display.
We design a new type of l ¥ 3 MMI optical power splitter with a reverse taper section. By appropriately determining the length of the taper region, the power loss occurred in the interface between the input guide and the multimode waveguide section can be reduced into the minimum. The simulation results show that the optimal length of the taper section decreases as the refractive index of the core region increases. And the existence of the reverse taper section does not increase the total lengths of the improved MMI devices in comparison of the conventional ones.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
