Dynamics of ions produced by laser ablation of several metals at 193 nm J. Appl. Phys. 109, 043302 (2011); 10.1063/1.3549159 Evolution and imaging of nanoparticles observed in laser ablated carbon plumeWe examined the laser ablation dynamics of silver target in aqueous phase to explore the effects of laser power, ambient electrolytes, and magnetic field on the formation and expansion of laserinduced plasma plume, bubbles, and nanoparticles. The lifetime of the plasma emission increased with magnetic field and electrolytes, while they had no influence on the conversion of laser energy to the energy of laser-induced bubbles formed thereafter. The size of the bubbles was dependent only on the laser power. V C 2015 AIP Publishing LLC. [http://dx.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
